Having read reviews on Trip Advisor, I contacted Sofie, by e mail, prior to our departure. I did have some misgivings about booking a guide based solely on internet reviews but it was the best thing I did. Sofie met us at our hotel on our first morning and took us around the Old Town, making sure we were ahead of the hoardes of tourists. She then left us on our own, to recover from the morning's exertions and to digest all that information, until the afternoon when we met up again to visit Prague Castle. The following day she took us to Cesky Krumlov. I had thought that a private guide would be very expensive but this was not the case and it is so much better than being part of a large group. Sofie is a lovely person and is extremely knowledgeable. Apart from her information on the City itself she advised us where to change money, where to eat, shows to see etc. She certainly contributed to the memorable experience we had in the lovely city of Prague

Stayed Prague Sept.11 to Sept 16. Stayed in Pension Tara whitch is close to everything. Old building this (ap.1450), needs renovation - but location is important to me. It is situated in a markedplace called Havelska. So every day there is marked with fruits, chocklate and other stuff.. Prague has got so many beautiful buildings ! Narrow streets, small open spaces with outside coffeebars and so many sights to see on your walkingtour ! The Old Marketplace is so very nice..and the astronomic clock is fasinating ! A walk on the Charles Brigde is a must !! And the Castel is a must.. very close to the brigde, some steps to walk up, but when your're up there, you are amazed. You have a wonderful viue over the city and the castel area is beautiful - and there is a huge garden close by !! The shoppingstreet in Prague has got so many good shops, so bring money !! Prices are not too exprensive.. Remember the beer !! It is sooo good !! And ask for a glass of Becherovka to go with the beer !! Have a nice trip to Prague, I know will when spring comes.. have to go back there !!

One of our guidebooks said, "Don't skimp on a tour guide!" Eager to hear about the history and details of the gorgeous architecture and sights of Prague, we asked our hotel concierge to find us a guide. They got in touch with Top Tour; we paid $175 (2500 Kcz) for two and a half hours. What a mistake! The guide book had more information in it than the woman who showed us around. Her knowledge was sketchy; she pointed at the attractions and told us what they were (which we already knew from our pre-visit research). She had half-baked stories about some of the sights, like the fact that the maker of the astronomical clock had been blinded after its construction, but when I asked, "Who blinded him?" she snapped, "That is not important!" (for the record, legend has it that it was the Prague Councilors in 1490 -- I found this out on my own, later).
The bottom line is: avoid Top Tour like the plague! I am sure there are other ways to find tour guides who are more informed about the city and its amazing history.

3 hrs with Sofie in a relaxed orientation, coffee along the way and we were secure in how to get the most from our time in the city and what was great to see, places to eat good food and all her wealth of knowledge on the beautiful city of Prague. It was like spending time with a good friend so amazing we just met. Let Sofie introduce you..its a wise move

What a waste of time and money. We took one bus to another stop, where we were told we had to wait 15 minutes for another bus. Our guide was sullen, monotone, and gave it in multiple languages. It was astounding how rude he was. He barely answered questions and walked away quickly. At one point he just left. We were all just hanging around waiting for him to return. The 3 of us decided we had enough 30 minutes into a 3 hour tour. It was that bad. We left and walked around ourselves.

We recently visited the beautiful city of Prague in the Chez republic. Our visit was made beyond believe with the wonderful tours with Sofia Milanova! We learned so much of the history past and present plus saw little nooks and crannys in the city we could never have dreamt of. Her knowledge and presentation made the whole city come alive for us! Thank you for making us love Prague Sofia and become truly fond of you too! Sofia had been recommended by a friend prior to outr trip and we have continued to recommend her to everyone as we relate our perfect holiday! In fact friends have already set up tours with her and they won't be disappointed! Sincerely Linda Jacknicke who can't wait to tour with Sofia once more in Prague!

Our 3 hour tour of the Prague Castle yesterday with Sabina was delightful. The short bus ride to the castle was filled with her detailed and interesting commentary of Czech history, explanations of sites we passed along the way, and preparation for what we would see at the castle. The timing seemed just right - not rushed and not prolonged in any of the breathtakingly beautiful sites at the castle. We could not have asked for a better experience as first time visitors to Prague.

Sofie Milanova was a phenomenal tour guide for Prague, knowledgeable to the highest degree, and showed the highest degree of professionalism. I would recommend her to anyone, as well as Prague, a most beautiful city.

nice place, except that you're ripped off at the exchange rate(and every single exchenge office or hotel has a different one),the city bus tours are not very well organised , my luggage arrived one day later than me from the airport and in some hotels there is a risk to find some of your staff(especially money) missing.....
