Neighborhood: Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Loved it in here, just about all the horror films I could think of were somewhere, either on a poster, a life size dummy, on the walls or the video link with advertisements continually playing on a loop. All the time there was what I would say heavy metal music playing through the speakers.
I'm not exactly sure what I expected but it was good, you go down some steep spiral steps to the basement, even the door creaks when you open it. The decor is dimly red throughout and the whole feel of the place was quite relaxed. It wasn't full being midweek but I can imagine a good night out on a busy weekend here.
The staff were very pleasant and friendly, the prices were good too and they had a good selection of horror themed cocktails which were difficult to read being on a black and red menu in red lit rooms.
Well worth a visit, at the current time of writing my review you need a covid vaccine proof.
I'll definitely be back here on my next visit

If you’re thinking of going to have a drink or two I would highly recommend booking in advance. We were lucky to find a reserved table (1h before it was required) for a quick drink. Small menu but cool decor.

They really pay homage to the genre - posters, statues, music, scenes, red lighting, it's a great horror based experience.

The shots were great -Zombie Embryo was sufficiently gross looking but tasted great. The cocktails were good but nothing special, and it was very quiet due to COVID.

My twin brother Stephen and I visited this bar along Uhezd and what a very cool bar this is.
I loved the look of Nightmare Prague Horror Bar,a suitably spooky interior ,nice ghoulish and horror related items to keep the most ardent horror fan entertained and really good bar staff in the cool cellar bar.
We were here on a Friday night,we ordered Staropramen Brewery beers, these were served in excellent condition,we just kicked back and took in the great horror themed bar we were in.
My beer was really good ,a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste ,served with the big foamy head so characteristic of the way Czech beer is poured and served .
We really enjoyed our visit here ,we stayed for two beers each ,we had a great time ,can't wait to visit here again ,it's easy to locate along Ujezd and is a bar I highly recommend you check out if you're planning a trip to Prague.

The interior of the bar is amazing, very well decorated, with a red and black theme, it is dark but not too dark, it feels like it's Halloween everyday. Good selection of cocktails and alright prices. The music was great, a good variety of metal. Overall the ambiance, atmosphere and decor is what really stood out to me, as well as the names of the drinks. Would recommend!

I decided to go because of the ambience and the decor. It is indeed a beautiful place, with a unique look. The staff is helpful and kind. The drinks are inventive, too much on the sweeter side for me, but that's just me. Prices are good. I think it's a place that needs to be seen at least once. I won't go back, but I am glad I went.

Walking in down a spiral staircase, your greeted with every horror movie poster possible, when you enter the bar there are figures of iconic horror figures and even a Gizmo from Gremlins which I loved. The drinks menu was fantastic and fantastic priced. I had shots & cocktails all horror themed. The red lighting effect gave it that ambience you needed being in there as you sit drinking and looking up and around at all the horror movie replicas. The bar lady who served us was fantastic and a great host to, A great asset to the bar. Thankyou :)

This bar was just around the corner from me so I popped in on the was back from town one evening.
What a cool bar, obviously if you’re not into horror there nothing for you here but if you are then it’s awesome. Such a great, creepy vibe about the place and a great atmosphere. All the horror memorabilia looks great and a great whisky cocktail with Leatherface overlooking me from one side and Jason Vorhees on the other!
For lovers of horror would definitely recommend a visit here even if it’s to pop in for a quick beer to check the place out.

If you're a person who loves a theme bar, this is just a fun place. However, if you're a horror fanatic like me, this is EVERYTHING. It doesn't matter what the drinks cost or what the service is like - I would go back to Prague just to spend time in this space. Red lighting? Check. Horrifying music as you walk down the stairs, only to pass a GIANT POSTER of Freddy Krueger? Check! Life-sized mannequins of all the horror movie villains that terrified AND enthralled you as a child? Definite check. Blood stains inside the bathroom bin? Check. In fact, I think they would do well to smear bloody handprints all over the bathrooms walls. I kind of want to live here. Thank you to whoever had the time and capital to create this - you are my hero.

Obviously don't go if you are easily scared.

Cool looking bar. Make sure you double check your bill and the change they give you. Make sure you ask if their arcade games work before putting in any coins as they will not give refunds for broken machines
