I did the evening tour in September 2019 and found it extremely helpful to accelerate my photography skills. Martin was an excellent teacher and willingly shared his experience about camera settings, composition, night photography and capturing the best photograph etc.
As a photography newbie it was great to be able to interact with Martin to ask and have answers to the questions which a gaggle of "You Tube" videos fail to answer or just leave you more perplexed after watching.
I would highly recommend Martin's Prague Photo Tour as a must do in Prague.

My 15 year old son and I did an afternoon tour with Martin last week. Both Martin and the tour were fantastic. Martin is very easy going and easy to chat with, making us both feel comfortable right away. My son and I are not technically advanced photographers and Martin was very patient with us both and was helpful in giving us tips on how to improve our photos. He took us to some great places that we would not have found on our own and we tried many different kinds of shots - landscape, cityscape, abstract, etc. My son and I have done a few different tours in different European cities and really enjoyed the diversity of shots in our tour with Martin. We would both highly recommend him as a guide and we hope to do a tour with him again in the future.

I was on the fence about booking this but I'm so glad we did! We're both amateur/beginner photographers and because of Martin we now have some great photos from our trip to Prague. During this 3 hr your he taught me quite a few things about my camera that I used during the rest of the trip. He also organizes intense photo tours to exotic locations like Iceland, Myanmar, etc that last over a week... So he has a lot of experience teaching photography techniques to all skill types. This definitely showed during our small 2 person tour with him. I've been in other photo workshops but had trouble really understanding the concepts afterwards. His explanations however were very simple and much easier for me to understand. We went to places I'd never have found on my own, and he showed us what angle to use for the best composition. We only did his night tour but now I wish we'd scheduled his day time tour too! Thanks Martin!!

Martin walked with me and another photographer an evening tour from five o 'clock on April 3 2019. We had sun, and enjoyed beautiful late afternoon light and the blue hour. When we stopped at eight o'clock it was almost totally dark. After a few 'finger exercises ' in composition Martin did what I had hoped for, showing us some fine locations near the Moldau river. I would not have found those spots myself. Martin took care to arrive with us on each location at the right moment to make the most of the good light. Aterwards Martin arranged an Uber for me to take me back to my hotel.

I took the photo tour last weekend. Martin is a very friendly person. He really cares about Prague and it shows. He took me to several locations around the city and helped me with different camera settings. Martin explained things in easy to understand terms and made the evening worthwhile. I came away with a much greater understanding of photography and editing. He tailored the evening to my needs and desires. This was one of the best things I have done in Prague.

I took the morning and evening photo sessions and both were great. Martin is very knowledgeable about cameras and set ups. He picks exceptional sites and has really done prep work to know the good times with the sun to get the best shots. I highly recommend this photography tour.

First, let me say that it still amazes me how easily I was able to contact Martin, schedule a tour/shoot and then have it all play out seamlessly. Martin met us at a predetermined spot. Martin then guided us through Old Town in Prague and was patient with me as I went through all the machinations to set my camera to the proper settings. Since I am a novice, his tutoring was extremely helpful. Perhaps the highlight of our trip was during twilight atop a hill overlooking the river and the Charles Bridge. Martin is knowledgeable, polite, friendly and eager to assist in capturing the perfect shot. We are currently looking over the catalog of adventures that he is a part of to perhaps meet again!

I took the evening and morning tours. Martin was so easy going, friendly, knowledgeable. He made sure I captured some great photos. I learned so much about my camera and how to compose pictures vs. snapshots. His tours were very efficient in covering the must have locations, most of which I would never have found on my own.
Martin is very patient and generous with his talent. Take his tours, you will have no regrets.

Very enjoyable and rewarding experience with Martin Bisof... he’s amazing as a person, very relaxed and easy going. He packs in a ton of instruction on composition, technique, light, and his approach to photography - but camouflaged in casual banter! We did abstract, architecture, long exposure, street and night photography all in one evening. Brought back amazing images, but more importantly more clarity in my approach to photography. Plus he knows every nook and cranny of Prague like the back of his hand. Exceeded all expectations!

I did the evening photo tour with Martin on the first night after arriving in Prague and it was a great introduction to the city. Martin showed me parts of the city that I wouldn't have found on my own, gave recommendations on other areas to try and visit (a few of which I managed to do) and made it a very enjoyable evening - in addition to coming away with some great photos. I would highly recomend joining one of Martin's tours !

Three of us will be making a day trip from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov and would want to have a whole day photo tour with a photographer guide to include sunset and early evening photos.
Can this be arranged? We're thinking of September 26 or 27.

The tour usually takes 3.5 hours and starts before sunset or sunrise so that we can meet the best possible light.
