Neighborhood: Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

It is the lower and older of the two towers framing the famous Charles Bridge on the Malá Stranka side. It is older than Charles Bridge itself, it was already built with the previous bridge, the Judith Bridge. It is nice to view from outside and take photos. In opposite to the higher and newer tower, it is not possible to go inside or to the top.

Each side of the bridge has a tower. The one on this side isn’t considered as great as the one on the other side but it’s great. It’s super old and looks amazing. It’s so great that these things are still standing. What a great city.

Narrow streets, quaint shops, ancient city by US standards. This is a beautiful stroll in the shadow of the Prague Castle.

If your staying in the Mala Strana district ( Lesser Town ) this will be the tower you enter onto Charles Bridge ,it's yet another stunning ancient tower that just looks so amazing.
Constructed in the 15th century, this beautiful Gothic tower is a great introduction to the amazing and in my opinion the most beautiful stone bridge in the world namely Charles Bridge, at over 43 metres high ,the views commanded from atop are truelly stunning, the tower is connected to a smaller tower known as JudithsTower which also looks pretty amazing, most everyone who visits Prague will walk along Charles Bridge and be it The Old Town Bridge Tower in the Old Town ( Stare Mesto ) or the Lesser Quarter Tower in Mala Strana I guarantee you will be impressed with both these amazing towers .
If your planning a holiday to Prague well worth checking out .

I recommend to come to this tower if you want to see nice views of the city skyline. The views are so beautiful. Even I would say it is more worthy than the tower in the old town center. That one is more expensive.
I especially recommend to go at dawn, so that you see the change in colors of the old town buildings.
The price is quite reasonable for the value. The stairs are very easy to climb and since the tower is not very tall it is easy to go up.
To me this is a must-do in Prague.

Nice little tower at one end of Charles bridge. Looks great at night with it lit up. We liked it even more for standing under it to keep dry as when we visited it was pouring with rain.

Visited on Wednesday 12th October at night and again on Thursday 12th October during the day. You walk under this tower as your cross Charles Bridge, the most visited place in Prague, it is always busy so takes a while to walk across the bridge.

We actually stayed at Hotel Pod Vezi which is located right next to the tower. Our hotel even gave us complimentary Tower tickets to go all the way on top. The views up ther are spectacular especially the views of the Bridge and Old Town. This is one of the most impressive views I have seen either from the tower or looking at it walking down from Charles Bridge!

This is at the foot of the Charles Bridge by the Lesser Town on the side of the river where the Prague Castle is located. Really vibrant and fun part of Prague.
