Now housing a gallery of a massive collection of photos of Pilsen before the war. The same war removed the congregation. A place to reflect on extremism.
It was interesting to visit this grand building given the family connection. Sad to think about why it's no longer in full use.
Amazing architecture and remarkable that it stands after the Nazi occupation. Beautifully restored testimony to a once thriving and prosperous Jewish community. Don't miss it.
If you've never been into a synagogue this would be a nice one to start with. It's very charming and old worldy
We didn't go inside since our furry friend was with us, but this building is amazing from the outside as well. If it's sunny, get on the terrace opposite the synagogue and take pictures from there!
