Modern science center with a 3D planetarium and hundreds of original exhibits, the visitor to try. It shows the world of science and technology around us. Go through the Stargate, try out firsthand earthquake and chatted with the robot world is amazing experiments and clever fun!
I visited iQLANDIA Saturday and each exposure took place a number of experiments from different scientific disciplines. All are served in a fun way and are an excellent example of the popularization of science. The entire complex was built rebuilt old factories, modernized and examples of combining old and new architecture. If you travel with children under iQLANDIA, get ready for that, you just let go. Admission for adults 230CZK and for children under 15 years 120CZK.

We loved this place! This was the reason we took a train from Prague to Liberec and that was excellent move. This is the best science center we have been. We spend there more than 4 hours and it wasn't enough for us. Entertaining, educational, amusing, informative and interactive! For all tech and science fans it's a must visit. It has also great planetarium.

Make sure to visit Tesla coil performance, fire tornado and if you speack czech science show. Labs are fun also. Exhibits are regular like in many other science centers, but for firstimers it is good choice.

The staff simply forgot about our order. She was subsequently rude to us and brought us something else. After 40 minutes we got the ordered food but there was raw meat. If the lunch has consequences, we send hygiene to the restaurant.

Hi guys. The place was great with so much fun there, but I had a very bad experience with the stuff. There is a gyroscope riding. I wanted to try, so I went to the line waiting for 15 min. Once there were only three people left, the stuff girl said, "OK, now we have a 30 min break. Only two people now". I was the third and the last one in the line. I said I was waiting for 15 min to get the ride. She retorted she had a break now for half an hour. I asked why she did not tell earlier. She said back the same to me - 30 min break. Try to imagine my feelings. You are their guest, and they treat you like a bothering bug. Try to imagine that you are in line with your little daughter. And you have to explain to her that what she so much wanted and was now a few minutes away won't get because the staff girl needs to eat so much now. My initial enthusiasm fell to a total disillusion and questioning - is this happening?......... I left with bitterness, happy I was not in line with my daughter. Conclusion: Try it but be ready for a communist-like unwelcome.

Thank you for your review. We regret that you were disappointed. We do everything to satisfy visitors both from the Czech Republic and abroad. 90% of our information including exhibit instructions, films in planetarium are in 4 languages - Czech, German, Polish and English. Members of our staff can also speak all those languages and are very happy to explain our visitors everything and help with any problems. Currently, we are working on intercom communication in all four languages to increase our multilanguage approach even higher so all our visitors, no matter what country they come from or what language they speak, can spend a great day with science in our center.

IQLandia is an amazing 4 story science center built for kids and adults of all ages. Each floor explores a different scientific intrest and can be easily understood by those who do not speak the local language, and by all ages.
We spent the entire day walking between the rooms, exploring, learning, playing. It was alot of fun and we wished we had more time to be there.
In addition, the cafeteria is good as well. Basic foods like chicken schnizel, chips, mashed potatoes, salad etc. Not expensive and delicious.

My wife and I wanted to try this place while we were staying in Liberec. It was supposed to be fun for the whole day but the reality is completely different. This place is awfully crowded with kids who are fighting over every piece of exhibition which you can try out. As a result third of the stuff is not working,because the parents wont forbid their spoiled brats anything. I can imagine staying there the whole day if you have kids but if you dont, just stay out. Seriously, this place is like a condom ad.

Thank you for your review. We regret to hear that you did not enjoy your stay that much. In fact, it is a period of Czech spring breaks and the weather is not very favourable for outdoor activities , so many families with kids come to our center to enjoy their day with science and fun. For adults who want to experience calmer time for visiting our center, we recommend to check with our help desk or write to info@iqlandia.cz to find out when is the best time to come. Great venue for the whole family. I was there already twice with my family and it was always great to be there, The admission fee is quite high but the visit is the money worth. A lot of special and great examples of physical phenomenon’s, exhibitions, science shows for kids etc. I would rate the venue with 5* but immediately with no doubts - but the whole great experience has been ruined by their food and beverage provider: with my first visit the experience was not really good but my starving kids convinced me to go there again. Bad decision: very poor offer, many of the food items has been either sold out or not prepared. Order of chicken nuggets for kids took more than 40 minutes and finally it was disgusting. The worst experience was the contact with the staff: arrogant, no customer focus, rood....and finally they ripped me off by adding stuff to my bill which we never had. Pointing out this to the server they returned the money for the extra item and sent me very expressively to hell! Their behavior forced me to complain immediately to the property manager who kindly apologized and invited the food and beverage manager to discuss further. Both apologized but for completely ruined experience have not been feeling really satisfied or compensated. So my suggestion is to skip the restaurant!

we have been skiing in Jizerkske mountains with kids and made the trip to iqlandia for one afternoon, it has been open only for a year so everything is new there and I will highly recommend this place, lots to do even with little ones:) Easy to find and easy to park too.

Hello, iQLANDIA is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. We also operate a kids science muzeum iQPARK which for kids 3 - 10. iQPARK is just 200 m far from iQLANDIA - inside a building of Centrum Babylon.
