A wonderful way to see so many plants and flowers from all over the world. The small aquarium is beautiful and all the displays are brilliant. Each section, even though they are small, is packed full of plants and very carefully looked after to fit into their own natural environment. My kids even spotted an egg being cared by for its mummy in the Australian section. Very gorgeous and well worth a few hours there.

I absolutely love this place. I have been here many times and it is always excellent experience. It is not big, so visitors can easily walk through. And the greenhouses with their collections are absolutely must-see.

Beautiful garden, old style design but with stunning greenhouses combined with a information display.
Nice collection of carnivorous plants and even a small aquarium section.
They could do with some money as besides the greenhouses everything is quite basic and frankly getting old.

The size of the garden means it’s easily doable if strapped for time... BUT, I suggest making time for this is a great garden full of beautiful landscapes and whimsy... imagine a seat for bad mood, lols!
The real showcase though is the fantastic Tropical House. It is filled with beautiful and interesting plants... gorgeous orchids, stunning gingers and exotic lilies... and what a great collections of cactus!
Finally, nowhere else have I been where the Tropical House was so easily navigable and flowed practically with each biome leading to another and there was no need to go through the same area to get to another.
So if you have an hour but preferably two to spare... give yourself this treat!

Liberec Botanical Garden is beautiful. Several indoor themed green houses. Wonderful lily gardens and tropical areas. The Pitcher plant area was amazing and worth the price of admission.

This is a unique and the oldest botanical garden in the Czech Republic. Tranquil place to relax! You can spend there at least two hours and admire different plants from the whole world. Blooming Victoria Amazonica is time to time your lottery winner ticket ! :D

Really good and well kept botanical garden with reasonable priced fee. Inside gardens are perfect, aquarium is quite small but in perfect condition and very interesting. Outside gardens are mostly very beautiful. Easy and nice walk from old town. Highly recommended! No restaurant or cafe by the way.

Great collection of species and variations as well as brilliant presentation! Outside section was fine, but greenhouses were simply amazing. I was especially impressed by orchid collection and tree trunks overgrown with different plant species from the same genus. Recommended for professional botanists and super interesting also for laics. I missed garden shop with souvenirs, some recent literature and plants. Great visit for good price!

I visited in February when the outside section was mostly dormant. The greenhouses; however, offered a large variety of plants, as well as other expositions. I ended up spending much longer than the time I budgeted for this attraction.
