Jul 2018 • Couples
Went in while walking around. received an interesting show history lesson. tasted and bought some chocolate. I am usually not a chocolate person but these blends are very tasty.
Also had a chocolate beer which was quite tasty.

Very friendly staff. well spent 30 min with a drink.

Fun little museum
Jun 2018 • Family
The museum is tiny showing old metal molds for making chocolate. The draw for this place is the chocolate itself. Good variety from all over the world. What I liked most was the young women who was working at the store. She was extremely friendly and let us try samples of the chocolate before we bought them. I’m sure she would have let us try every flavor if we wanted too. It was very hot that day and she even gave us cups of water. It’s a short walk from St Barbara’s through the medieval town.

Modern museum with heritage

We had our first experience with the owners of the Chocolate Museum & Chocolaterie as our evening programme during a conference held in Kutná Hora where they they told us everything about the history and the proper chocolate-making process + we tried about ten different kinds of chocolate made by them, giving a quick overview about each and that is why we came to the shop the other day :-) we were so impressed by these professionals. Keep up the good work & thank you once again!

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this chocolate shop and decicided to pay it a visit.

The owner was very welcoming and let us sample all the chocolates we were interested in buying!

The quality of the treats here are another level from supermarkets

We made a side trip on our way from Vienna to Prague just to visit this lovely little place. Lada is a sweetheart. She went out of her way to give us a history of the Lidka chocolate factory, explaining with great detail and pride its history. I had a vision of drinking real hot chocolate, sitting at a little table on the cobbles outside, listening to the church bells chime in Kutna Hora. And we did it! What a treat! Delicious chocolates to sample, fascinating little museum. Well worth the visit.

Choco heaven!
Sep 2017 • Solo
Out of all the places to visit in Kutna Hora this was top of my list! I love chocolate and this was the cutest little museum and chocolate shop. The ladies in the shop were so helpful and friendly, they let me try any of the chocolates I wanted, and there were loads to choose from! I was rushed for time but still managed to try and buy three types of chocolate, my favourite being the Goat's Milk chocolate, really nice. Just wish I had more time to have sat down outside and enjoyed a hot chocolate. Lovely place.
