There's an old saying that chocolate produces the same endorphins or feelings as sex!

I hope believe the saying is true because I love chocolate and always feel good eating it just like sex.

If you love chocolate you're really going to enjoy this chocolate shop and museum.

The Staff/Owners are very friendly and will that you taste different chocolates until you find what you like.

They also have a neat little museum on the history of chocolate that you will enjoy so Stop in for a visit and have some good chocolate. Enjoy!

Dear Don, thank you for a beautiful review! Really, chocolate endorphins work great - we are still happy and when happens something wrong we just take another piece of chocolate and everything is OK :-) Have a great time, hope to see you soon again! Lada Bart.

I didn't even know this place existed. My friend and I were visiting Kutna Hora for a day in May 2016, mostly to see the Ossuary. We then spent the rest of the day visiting the other beautiful sites. At one point we got lost and ended up finding a tiny shop that said 'Chocolate Museum' so we went in.
The museum part was closed, I think they said renovations, but the lovely and friendly staff member let us have samples of lots of the chocolates there. I found the perfect gift for my mom who adores ginger chocolate.
If you happen to be in Kutna Hora, it's worth popping in...if you like chocolate.

So many candies to choose from that you'll want to try them all. Many make for lovely gifts but grab a few bars for yourself.

The museum is only one small room, but contains lots of exhibits to tell the fascinating story of the chocolate company. We were lucky enough to get a quick guided tour from one of the staff working there, which was very informative. The chocolate itself is amazing, there are some free samples to try and a huge range of chocolates to buy. We also had a nice chocolate beer on the outside seating area. Definitely recommended for chocolate lovers!

We came here to see the little museum of chocolate. It was really tiny. One room only to be exact. But the lady there was very knowledgeable and told us all about the history of chocolate in the Czech Republic before the WWII.
There is a small shop attached and we got some cute little chocolates plus bits of sheep and goat milk chocolates. You don't have to spend long here but it's a fun stop.

My husband was very excited to visit the chocolate museum and have a tasting. We walked in and he asked if we wanted the tour first before tasting - we said yes. He allowed us to go ahead through the entry. We were shocked there was no fee. We walked through the entrance and stopped. That was it.... a tiny little room with about three cases of displays. The owner (I’m not sure if he was) gave the history and explained many things in detail. It was a cute little room. We didn’t get to taste because there was a group of girls that would not leave the counter so we left. Not sure how the chocolate is. But it was quite busy for such a small place. Too bad we didn’t get to sample.

What a pleasant surprise. Was expecting to see the same chocolate shop was there is in Prague. No so this truly is a small museum with freshly made chocolate at reasonable prices. After being there a couple of days ago still nibbling on the ginger chocolate I got there.

Surely the smallest chocolate museum in the world :), but definitely with one of the most energetic hosts. We got an interesting overview of the place and then tried a wonderfully yummie hot chocolate with ice cream. Unfortunately, they ran out of chocolate beer. :(
