This colonnade was under renovation, but the day, when I arrived to Karlovy Vary, the renovation was over, so I could enjoy this beautiful place.
Colonnade is white, very romantic and you can find there "Snake Spring". On the sides of the railings are panels with large-format photographs showing the history of this colonnade.

On October 16, 1880, the Karlovy Vary City Council decided at its meeting on the construction of a concert and restaurant hall in the former Winter Garden, newly renovated as the City Park, today's Dvořák Gardens, on the left bank of the Teplá River behind the Military Spa Institute in the middle of the city of Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad). The implementation of the building was ordered from the Viennese architectural studio Fellner & Helmer. The famous Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer, for whom the project was the second realized building in Karlovy Vary, proposed to realize the object again from cast iron parts and therefore turned to the Mariánská huť of Count Salm of Blansk, the supplier of the cast iron elements of the Vřídelní colonnade. In a letter dated October 23, 1880, the Blanenské železárny undertook to supply the cast iron parts of the structure for a lump sum of 27,000 guilders within the agreed period. In two weeks, a pair of talented architects developed the project. A large restaurant building with verandas was then built in 1880-1881 by Karlovy Vary builder Josef Waldert. On November 16, 1880, earthworks began, and in January 1881, actual assembly of the hall from cast iron parts began. While the construction was still in progress, in March 1881, the Viennese architects pushed for the expansion of the entire complex by the addition of a two-armed covered promenade part, which connected the concert hall with the fountain of the Sadové pramen. The main hall of the pavilion was decorated with ceiling paintings of romantic scenes designed by Franz Laufberger, professor of the Vienna School of Art and Industry. Construction and assembly work was completed in April 1881. The ceremonial opening of the music hall and restaurant, later called the Blanenský pavilion, took place on June 5, 1881, as part of the opening of the spa season. The music pavilion hosted concerts, exhibitions, fashion shows, balls, banquets, etc. The restaurant hall with a diet kitchen, summer verandas and a garden restaurant offered a total of 1,000 seats. In March 1965, the former Blanensky Pavilion was demolished due to dilapidation. Of the entire building, only the eastern wing of the cast-iron promenade part, connected to the Sadový pramen, today's Sadová colonnade, has been preserved.

It is the first of the Colonnades, when you come from the city. It is a small colonnade, but it is beautiful. Unfortuately, most visitors just pass by there. So when you are in this area, you should also got there and have a look to this beautiful structure and walk a bit around. The access is free of charge.

My final review of the colonnades of Karlovy Vary - the Park Colonnade is the last in line of my reviews of colonnades.
Built between 1880-1881 - opened to the public in 1881 this colonnade is made of cast iron - the pillars and the roof support and all of its intricate decorations is cast iron - except from the statues decorating the springs.
It was refurbished in the 1960's since it was degraded heavily and now , among the other 3 colonnades of Karlovy Vary is one of the landmarks of the city.
Visiting is free of charge - and definitely worth it - so when in the area - stop for a few minutes - for a few pictures - maybe to sip on the springs water.

As I wrote in one of my previous reviews, if you like these movies with the sceneries and costumes of the 19th century, don't miss this place.
It is lovely.
This small and exquisite park adjoining the colonnade is the perfect place to take a break after walking the beautiful Karlovy.
The greenery, the flowers, the trees, sculptures ...everything is beautiful and deserves definitely a long break to contemplate the surroundings and simply relax...
As usual I have attaches some pictures to share with you this peaceful moment...
Just be there and enjoy

Lace Colannade
It looks like it made from lace, but it is from cast iron. The Colonnade is refined. It`s situadet in the park of Dvorakovy Sady. So you can have a walk there. It was closed for restoration from October.

It's a beautyful and relaxing spot just in the middle of the city promenade. Nice to have a sit on the banch and read your book or just to rest. The gorgeous "lace" disign of the Colonnade is simply a joy to your eyes!

The most beautiful kolonada in Karlovy Vary! Its lace architecture is so charming and just calls you to come back and admire it again and again!

Not so attractive in the winter months, but likley to be more relaxing place to chill in the summer months.
