Karlovy Vary Day Trip from Prague including Lunch

13 reviews
Karlovy Vary, less than two hours from Prague, has been one of the most popular spa towns in the Czech Republic since the 1800s. On this convenient full-day tour—which transports you between attractions with ease—stop at the largest geyser in town, which squirts boiling water 39 feet (12 meters) into the air. After a 3-course lunch, enjoy free time to indulge in the spas, or explore the town’s cultural attractions and grand 19th-century architecture.

Since within a COVID-era some faith and belief in assertive forces are necessary for all and everywhere it's good time and chance to remember about this very modest and patient kostel on the very embankment of Tepla. Yes, it's not really impressive and without any wow-effects but it's so attractive with its quietness and generous patience that when you go to the springs from Sanssouci or Imperial you could find just five minutes to admire this atmosphere and acquire a part of its energy. Every time there were catchy tunes of some electronic pipe organ, none disturbing you and dimmed lights. Prices for candles are very affordable. Not sure that this place is to be visited especially if you stay, say, at the other end of the resort zone but if you have your vacations close to that - simply enter it to be inspired by some positive energy - no matter which faith you belong to.

It was built on the 19century. The building is painted in blue and the domes are in golden color. It is an Orthodox church and when you look from outside it resembles the Russian Church in Ostankino near Moscow.

We were the only one's in the Church and you could almost feel the devotion and inspiration around you. A nice end to our walking the town's main road.
