I saw this church only from outside, because on late afternoon, when I arrived there, it was already closed (opening hours for the public are from 10 am to 5 pm). The view of the church with white decorated stairs was just gorgeous. Even if only from the outside, a tour of this church was worth it. It is the oldest existing church in Cheb and it's located on the Church Square.

The first mention of this church is from the 13th century. Today this seems to be the main church of Cheb being very close to the main square. When we visited some young German people were singing while visiting the church themselves and it was lovely. The tower is open and for 20 Kč you can climb to the top and enjoy the views of Cheb and surrounds.

One of the landmark of the Cheb (Eger in German) just close to the main square and Špalíček built in 13th century, rebuilt after the 1742 fire. The dominant feature are the two towers. Open from 10.00-17.00.
