We were very thankful to have enjoyed a 4 hour tour through the beautiful city of Krumlov. Karolina took us through a spin from the 13th century to post-soviet Czech Republic. We learned not only of the city, but also of the historical connections to Bavaria, Austria and the surroundings. Karolina has been patient with answering our varied queries. She is truly a blessing for the city of Krumlov!

We were going to be in Cesky Krumlov for just 21 hours, leaving at 3pm the following day. So I contacted Karolina of Krumlov Tours and she suggested a 2-hour private walking tour of the town starting at 9.30am. The previous evening it snowed and we woke up to a magical setting. Our tour guide was Nikki, bubbly and full of fun and she was brilliant. She took us to places that we would never have found on our own, gave us all the history of the town, stories about certain areas and explained everything with a great depth of knowledge. We even saw a live bear!!!! I was so sorry when our time was up. I would recommend this tour to anyone lucky enough to find themselves in Cesky Krumlov. It's a 3-hour bus ride from Prague, but definietly worth it.

Three of us hired a tour guide from Krumlov Tours and were very pleased with the tour. Her name was Teresa, and she seemed very well versed in the history of the Castle, the town and the country generally. We also had a tour of the baroque theater in the castle, which was wonderful. The fairy tale town was very busy with tourists, of course, but we didn't feel neglected or "mobbed."

This was a great walking tour led by a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful guide to a great old, historic town. We saw the sights up close and personal with background information and a personal touch. While it was 4 hours, it was a doable tout with only one real slope climb to the royal gardens that was a very slow pace. We did the tour as a couple as a private tour, which was both reasonably priced and definitely worthwhile. The guide was helpful in finding great places to see on our own, great places to eat and other helpful information. While this town can be seen in one day, we recommend at least 3 days to experience more of the town and to see what it is like after the bused in tourists leave for the day. Highly recommend locations and guide!

I did not expect it was a private tour for our group of 5 people. The tour guide is born in local and I would say she is the expert of the town. We had learnt a lot from the guide about the history and stories of the town when we walked around. Overall the tour was relax, fun, and let us to capture the views of beautiful town.
