Dream city

An amazing place to visit with time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and streets. We spent one night there, and one of the best parts was walking around at night.

We travelled by train on a very snowy day. It was think snow and made the whole place magical. Lots to see, and really friendly people. I am so glad we took the train trip from Prague to see it.

It takes only a few minutes in Česky Krumlov to realize that the 3-hour trip from Prague is well worth the hassle: fairy-tale architecture surrounded by charming countryside that come for a fraction of the capital's crowds. The experience is best enjoyed staying overnight and enjoying the shift in the village's mood, from bright and peaceful to spooky and mysterious... More

This place is a time warp! Takes hours to check it all out. Camera friendly and for those who are fit. Now the weather is chilly eating outside is made possible with cozy blankets. A good deal too. You have to see it for yourself.if on your way to Prague this is a destination.

This is a charming village with wonderfull views from the castle. We were there in December 2008 so were unable to tour the inside of the castle; but, the outside & seeing the bears was great. Wandering the village with its' winding streets & lunch in a quaint restaurant was interesting & fun.

Every fairy tale story I read as a child came to life, here. Castles. Cobblestone roads. Quaint yet bustling with daily activities and art. EVERY fairy tale came true. Cesky Krumlov is the soul of art, beauty, joy. Experience it. Savor it. You will leave renewed.

Just 2 1/2 hours from Prague is the Medieval town of Cesky Krumlov. This an wonderful day trip from the city and its an amazing bit of time travel without a time machine. There are numerous tours to the town and our hotel (Majestic Plaza Hotel) arranged it for us. It was with PREMIANT CITY TOURS and less than $70.... More

On a Danube River Cruise we ended in Vilshofen, Germany. We had a car service pick all four of us up and drive us to Prague. It was highly recommended that we stop in Cesky Krumlov and we are so happy we did. A charming town, and the Palace tour was great fun. Enjoyed our restaurant too. There are some... More
