Hi, thank you for your great review! Český Krumlov is a romantic little town indeed. It´s an amazing place to visit especially in spring or in the autumn when there are not many tourists in the streets and it´s great to join our Night tour when you have a chance. At night Český Krumlov is really romantic - its streets are beautifully lit by the streetlamps, the town is almost empty and you can enjoy its atmosphere without being disturbed by anybody.

Jan is an amazing guide with all of information about this beautiful sleepy town. He is a local and all the facts come naturally to him. A mix of anecdotes and personal experiences, we really enjoyed his walking tour and would recommend it to all. A tip- great beer in his family owned restaurant 😊

Outstanding local tour

We truly enjoyed our tour with Daniel. He was very knowledgeable - clearly explaining the history of Cesky Krumlov, the significant buildings in town and giving us his personal recommendations for snacks, food, beer and activities. The tour was an easy walk, well paced and very informative. Daniel took some great pictures for us too!

Tour in Česky Krumlov

It was a lovely tour with a local. I would recommend to start the visit of the city with this tour - the guide will give some tips about the city, will explain a lot of things about Czech Republic and the town itself. The tour is very well structured, easy to follow, however, it's also very interesting and you will learn a lot of new things.

Left a bad taste...

The tour guide is a local, which is great, but you can't recommend your family restaurant if when I, a tourist from your own group, walk in to that restaurant and be talked so rudely to. Left such a bad taste in my mouth. Cannot trust any recommendation the tour guide gave and the information in the tour was not that in-depth.

Hello, thank you for your review. On the tour, I recommend our family restaurant - which I openly say - and I also say the information is going to be a little bit biased. And it's true - in the case of the restaurant I'm a bit biased, because the service there is not the best. You had bad luck, that you experienced a shift that is not really good and they can be rude. Perfect intro to Český Krumlov

July 2023 was the first trip to Český Krumlov for my wife and myself, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Daniel. While not a Český Krumlov-native himself, he surely made this town his home since he moved there and presented it accordingly: The way you would show your living room to guests that you don't mind hanging around, with the sights of the town becoming treasured pictures and trinkets in this little metaphor, each with its own story that Daniel was keen to tell in vivid detail.

We would absolutely recommend this tour (and Daniel) to anyone visiting this beautiful town, it's a great primer to discover the city on your own afterwards.

Excellent tour of CK!

We don't often take city tours, but we thouroughly enjoyed this experience. Our guide, Daniel, was extremely knowledgable about the history of the city and was able to consistenly deliver the information in a captivating manner. I highly recommend the CK Wiseman Free Tour, you won't refret it!

Best tour, wise tour

To explore with the beautiful city of Cesky Krumlov, our guide was extremely knowledgable and very engaging at all times. We visit the most important parts of town, get tips and places to eat. I enormously recommend it.

The free tour was nice. Except that I found the tour guide named Daniel kept saying "Yo" after almost every sentence, which was redundant and a bit annoying. This is a Czech word. But, he was speaking in English.

The tour in itself was nice. Cesky Krumlov is quite pretty to walk around. And it's a small town. However, I found Daniel a bit bias to one of the vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant named Laibon, which I have visited more than once. I strongly disagree with his opinion the food in this establishment is amazing. I recommended! I do not like the Czech cuisine as it's too heavy.

Other than those two complaints the tour was informative and interesting. Hence my rating. Thank you!

The Wiseman Free Tour was a really great experience. Daniel outlines the history of the city in a very accessible and interesting manner. He also gives a lot of useful, practical tips as to where to eat or have a nice cup of coffee.
