Don't miss this place! It's not a regular shop with souvenirs but a vintage museum of old czech merchants full of cool placards. The guy behind the counter was super nice and we enjoyed chating with him. You can take pictures inside and buy all the placards in smaller versions as magnets. I am sure you will love the atmosphere of old times!

Tug at the back of a souvenir shop, this museum showcases merchandises and business equipments from late 19th century to early 20th century.
The shop is in fact the property with the oldest merchant history in Cesky Krumlov and the souvenir shop sells made in czech unique items you can only get here.
Walk through the museum and you will see cash registers, calculating machines, various types of tin containers and scales. Lots of interesting items packed in a small premises and it is free!

I was surprised, finding out that this souvenir shop also has a museum of trade inside that is free of charge. Products from Czechoslovakia and 1st Republic were gathered together divided by categories. I was shocked by the fact that there are still many that survived almost one century. Definitely recommended if you are from Slovakia or Czech Republic as you might probably get more from this exhibition than foreign tourists.

A plesent little museum full of vintage and rustical products and things that were in the everyday use from the 40's and 50's.
Here you can see the history of everday household items and some of the elderly will remember how the thigs were back in "the good old days".
Also a very interesting museum for all the mad man series fans out there.

I liked this shop so much. It reminds me my spent childhood in the countryside where we had accessories and different boxes from the 1st republic and later. Also, the old music was very cool.

While shopping for a souvenir, I did not expect to find this gem. LOVED the displays! It was very interesting and items were marked in Czech and English.

I never miss a visit to this shop in the heart of UNESCO listed Česky Krumlov. It takes me to what I imagine were some of the best times in a truly beautiful country. The museum has a good collection of sales items including posters, bottling and dispensing machines and point of sale equipment. The shop has a selection of traditional Czech goods including the beautiful clockwork tinplate models of Zetor tractors, scale models of some of the most innovative and well engineered motor vehicles most of us never heard of, and the traditional fish penknives every Czech boy used to own. The staff tend to be a little pushy but don't let that put you off.
