This is a cool small museum inside a shop where you can spend around 30 minutes. There are some nice things from the early 20th century. The admission is free.

You should definitely go there. Entry is free and you will find many nice exhibits from past era that will put smile on you face. There is also small shops where you can buy copies off some exhibits. I definitely recommend this museum. Also suitable for childrens.

After a wonderful guided tour of the castle and town square, we were left to browse in the multiple quirky shops and museums in the quaint town of Cesky Krumlov. When we entered the "Museum of Commerce" or " muzeum obchodu", we thought it was charming until we entered the 3rd room where they prominently display 3 framed blackface racist ads - the kind where a small blackfaced child is turned white by some brand of soap. We decided to immediately not support this place and leave. What do we see on the way out? You can buy a small tin copy of these blackface ads for only 400 Czech krona. I guess UNESCO heritage organization does not provide guideline for inclusion. Either that or the folks of Cesky Krumlov don't care who they offend.

Cute (and free) little museum, showcasing some of the history of the region via its commercial products, more or less. There's actually quite a number of items, and the placards explaining the item collections are written in a few languages (including English). There's also a little gift shop section near the entrance/exit if you want to buy some replicas of old timey things.

We stumbled on this place while walking around the town and really enjoyed seeing the small museum that recreates scenes from life in past times when commercial products became available. Some of the posters might disturb some people but to me they represent the thinking (not always what one would want to see - one with blackface for example) at the time. The museum is small and free (although you can leave a donation.

This museum was very close to our hotel, we were walking by so went in for a look. Very fascinating and children would love it as well. Lots to see, allow about half an hour to see everything.

If you like retro style, this is the right place for you! I have never visited place which gives you so strong feel that you're in the 30's of last century. There is so many beautiful things that you can see or buy. Really nice place.
