Probably very interesting for a motorcycle specialist. I am not one, but, still, a 1901 motorcycle or Harley 1943 model with military white stars impressed me.

Well not really a 5 star review but someone has listed a lot of the buildings in Ceske Budejovice on here, which should belong mainly on Wikipedia rather than on Tripadvisor. The motorcylcle museum is an actual attraction and needs to appear higher up!
Each motorcycle has a label of its year and make, and didn’t appear to be set out in any particular order or groupings, but then I know nothing about motorcycles. Quite interesting to see some of the older models, the museum will only take you 15 minutes to go around but worth the 50csk entry.

The museum is one of the hundreds of exhibited motorcycles with one of the largest publicly accessible collections of two-wheeled vehicles in the Czech Republic. I'm not a motorbike fan but my boyfriend was impressed by the old bikes. It will take about 15 min to see the whole museum but the entrance fee was about 2 EUR so it was worth it.

I would say that anyone is at some point in life interested in how things were before Internet and high powered cars. This is the place to start understanding how it used to be before. Just one thing I did not like: the motorbikes are way too packed together. It gave me the feeling of disrespect.
For a motorcycle-junkie this place must be heaven!

I visited this museum on the 5th July and found a really interesting and varied collection of classic motorcycles. The owner of the museum was really helpful and even started up his oldest bike for me, a 1901 Laurin & Klement. Well worth a visit for anyone with an interest in old bikes and machinery.

Exhibition with a collection of nearly 100 engines (including the one and only unique “Hurikan”, a race motor produced in 1947 by Vladislav Vlk), historical models, children-carts, scale model airplanes, old mechanical toys, accessories, badges of matches and leagues, archive and documentation of historic vehicles, vintage, photography, posters. This exebition is housed in the former Salt House which was built in 1531 as granery, later it was used as city armoury and after that used as salthouse to store salt (of which its name was derived). It is an oblong building of 5 floors and utility buildings.

Actually a hodgepodge of motorcycles and others. However, the vehicles are not in optimal condition. Very nice staff.
