Parking is right out side the castle, which is a shame if you want to take a picture of the front. The castle is quite sizeable and you start at the bottom (where there is a lovely old kitchen and a room showing a short history) and work your way up. Each floor has it’s own unique character and there is lots to see. Half way up is the room where Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed on his way to Culloden. There are lots of other little areas to explore. Worth a visit

Just out side of Aberfeldy near weem. Is this very original castle you can see and feel the history, it's in its original state and refreshing because you know there is lots still to be fixed to bring it back to its original grandeur. .well worth a visit ,

A fascinating castle to visit. The staff are very knowledgeable and answered our questions more than adequately. After purchasing our tickets, which were very reasonably priced, we were free to explore the many interesting rooms of the castle and the outside too. There were various information boards around the castle giving an insight into the history of the castle and the Menzies clan plus a film show in a dungeon. We enjoyed cake and coffee in their little coffee shop too. All in all, an enjoyable afternoon and highly recommended.

Loved it! Lovely guy welcomed us in and gave a history of the castle and lots more information before sending us off to look around on our own. Could have listened to his tales for ages! Interesting building to look around, not too many signs to read but plenty of exhibits to see. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

An interesting and tactile insight into a clan leaders aspect of Highland life beginning in the 1100s and continuing with the history of the castle up to more recent times. The restoration is sympathetic to earlier times as the castle was left uninhabited for many years
