This very old church is huge for the size of the village but clearly the gospel is preached here. Lovely simple interior. Pay £1 for the information leaflet about the church and wander around at your leisure.

Parts of this church was built before the second visit of the Romans. It is over 1300 years old and it was interesting to discuss what this old buliding had "seen"

This beautiful Saxon Church was hosting an event organised by Brixworth Belles to raise funds for the Friends of Brixworth Church. The event was a one man performance by James Hornby of Great Expectations. It was a really entertaining performance but need better audio.

By chance the church was open and we had a stroll around. There are many guides about the building available to buy.

This Anglo-Saxon church is a wonderful survival from 750-850. It is huge and was built from reused materials, including some Roman bricks. A later round stair turret is an unusual feature. Has good space for parking.
