Spontaneously stopped in Muhanga on the way to Akagera to go to Azizi lifes' souvenir shop but ended up with staying one night and went on an experience doing mud bricks. We do not regret it one bit! First of all, they treated us like royalty at the hostel and made us feel right at home for a more than... More

What can I say that was not phenomenal?! The staff was prompt, professional, and accommodating. I wore traditional clothing, helped to prepare our meal, got water, and cultivated with the women.... It was THE experience to have while in in Rwanda as a tourist. To see people's lives first hand and walk through a day with them, ending with singing... More

I'd been living in Rwanda for over a year when I had some visitors from home and I wanted to show them as much about life in Rwanda as I could. We did the traditional gorilla and Akagera visits, but I wanted them to see something more 'real.' The organisers created a bespoke day to include a mix of the... More

Half of my trip in Rwanda was organised by Azizi life, the gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking and the experience day with Azizi . Among all the activities that my sister and I have joined, the stay with Azizi life in Muhanga was the most memorable one. We spent two nights in Azizi life hostel and joined the construction work experience day,... More

I spent the day with Azizi Life in Muhanga and it was truly one of the most amazing, inspiring and beautiful experiences in my travels around the world. The women in the cooperative were so generous and loving. I shared a day in their life- and it was incredible. Their children were also part of the amazing day and their... More

Our first trip to Rwanda and coming to Azizi in Muhanga was the best choice in our Africa trip, we have got the best experience when it comes to basic living, it taught us a lot on life, on what it is really necessary... Azizi you are doing a great job!

It was a hands on experience as to the life of the Rwandan artisan. We had a great time make our meal, doing farm work, hauling water and weaving our bracelet. We have a better appreciation of quality craftsmanship. The fellowship with the artisans was priceless. I highly recommend this experience.

I feel nearly ashamed that it has taking me so long to write a review on Azizi. I spent a wonderful, enriching and humbling day cooking and talking about life with the local ladies in a village. Azizi also organised my trip, accomodation and a driver to see the gorillas for a reasonable price. I would like to thanks particularly... More

I came with a group to Azizi Life the day after visiting my first Genocide Memorial. Seeing the progress and spending a day with the artisans restored my faith in humanity. I'm more than happy to support their work!
