Gayle and Rudi created a perfect personal tour to suit our interests. There is so much in the Adelaide Hills to do with food and wine. There were too many choices for a busy couple who had been working in Adelaide all week and were time poor visitors from Sydney. Gayle cut through all the choices giving us a bespoke experience that involved beautiful wine tastings in boutique organic wineries, panoramic scenery and local produce. Rudi went out of his way to take us to places we would never have known about if we had been left to our own devices. It was a really wonderful day full of surprises. We have also discovered Gruner Veltliner which is a delicious grape varietal from Austria. We recommend Hills Luxury Day Tours to anyone visiting the Adelaide Hills!

My friend, mum, dad, and four month old baby went on a full day wine tour to the Barossa from Adelaide with Rudi and I can’t recommend him or Hills Luxury Day Tours highly enough!
Rudi is so accommodating, patient, and was so fine even when we had to change our schedule at the last minute (we like to talk and we’re running late everywhere haha). His partner Gayle was so lovely and kind and very helpful over email.
We booked this tour extremely last minute and they were nothing short of amazing from start to finish.
I will absolutely book with these guys again :)

We had an amazing day with Gail and Rudi , through the Mclaren vale wineries , Hahndorf, Adelaide Hill’s and Mt Lofty . Rudi gave us some great commentary on the areas , the trip around very comfortable and very good time allowances for sightseeing and tastings good value for the cost also . Would definitely do another trip with them if we visit Adelaide again .

We originally booked a big bus tour to Barossa Valley and Hahndorf. But just before the trip I was told the tour was not operating for some reason. I searched again and found Hills Luxury Tours and booked the same your. Although more pricey (I decided to close off the car for just me and my wife), it was worth every cent!
Rudi is a great guy and even better guide. He is a really nice father figure sort of guide and will make you feel really well looked after. He has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of Adelaide and its surrounds so that really helps.
I highly recommend Hills Luxury Tours for those who don't mind spending more for a bespoke luxury experience. Even better, pay a little extra and have the whole car to yourselves!

Mom and I did a private tour with Rudi and he was very helpful and such the gentleman. Rudi also suggested great wineries as we only knew about one. Gayle was very quick with her response even due to my last minute booking and I greatly appreciated that. I most definitely will book with this company again. Mom and I loved it.

What a Fantastic day touring the Adelaide Hill wineries.
Our driver and guide Rudi was outstanding, he had so much knowledge of the area and the Adelaide Hills. A big thanks to Gayle for organising our itinerary at such short notice. We would highly recommend Hills Luxury Day tours to anyone wanting a private tour.

From the initial enquiry through to the end of the tour, Gayle and Rudi were so helpful and professional, Gayle with the paper work and Rudi as the tour guide. This ensured all we had to do was to enjoy the day! The tour hit the mark in terms of a combination of winery visits (I would recommend and revisit Artwine for the experience) and sightseering including the iconic Hahndorf. It was a lovely well paced day.

Our tour of the Adelaide Hills was one I'd recommend to anyone travelling to Adelaide. Our guide, Rudi, provided a wealth of knowledge on the history of Adelaide and the Hills, through to the current day. Despite not being blessed with fine weather, we rode in comfort in Rudi's immaculate new LandCruiser, with doors opened for us at every stop. We got to experience tastings at three great wineries along with an authentic German lunch in Hahndorf. I should also mention an alternate winery had initially been booked, but once Rudi found that we had hoped to visit a different one, he went out of his way to cancel the first booking and get us booked straight into our preferred option. This is the kind of service that takes a tour to the next level. Thanks for everything Rudi, we really appreciated your hospitality on the day, and we'd love to come back one day in the future!

We had a wonderful day tour through the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf with Rudi, who was very informative and knowledgeable. His commentary was so interesting and the day was organised well, giving us time at the 2 wineries, Haigh's chocolate factory, Hahndorf village, Beerenberg Strawberry Farm, finishing with beer tasting for my husband and coffee and cake for me! We even got a box of chocolates at the end!
We had a private tour (as there were no other bookings that day) and a banner saying congratulations to decorate the van (as it was our anniversary!) Gayle was very easy to communicate with in terms of booking and Rudi was very helpful and pleasant to be with. We had a lovely time, thank you so much.

Great day out with Rudi on the Gourmet Food and Wine tour of the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf. We only had a few days in Adelaide and wanted to fit in as much as possible and this really hit the brief. On a full day tour, we visited Mount Lofty, two wine tastings (one with cheese which was fabulous), chocolate factory, gin tasting and a stop for a couple of hours in lovely Hahndorf where we had time for lunch. Rudi shared interesting insights on the area along the way, bringing the sort of knowledge and local anecdotes that comes with his many years of living in Adelaide.
