Cheese, cheese and relish

Lovely little place, would have liked the opportunity to sample soft cheeses. Great selection of relishes, chutneys, jams, confectionery and cheese available for purchase.

This stop is a must for cheesies, the staff is extremely helpful and offer a wide range of tastings if you ask. We left with a few nice exclusive cheeses. Definitely a must of cheese lovers.

An absolute must to any cheese lover. There's a great gift shop, a small tasting area, an interesting museum display and a huge cafe. My only suggestion is that the tasting area could've been bigger, with a bigger variety (only four cheese varieties were available for tasting). Fabulous birthday & wedding cake ideas.

We passed on our way to Warrnambool and decided to go back and explore. We first looked around the cheese museum which had lots of historical collections. It made a pleasant stop during our casual day exploring the area. The cheese was really tasty but don't expect a formal cheese tasting. All of their cheeses are on display for you... More

This is a great place to take the kids for a milkshake when the weather is average as the drive from Warrnambool is pleasant and there are so many backroads back into Warrnambool for a scenic drive via Hopkins Falls area. They make kids size milkshakes (which I notice in my review from 2 years ago were $3... they are... More

We dropped in on our way to the Great Ocean Road travelling from Warrnambool on our way home. There is a café selling sandwiches etc and they have a great milkshake range and a shop selling merchandise, food products and wine. We tasted several of the free cheese samples on display which we enjoyed. There is also various flavoured chutneys... More

There's a reason Cheese World is famous for its milkshakes... there's no cheese. A large gift shop and cafeteria, with one small fridge of not very interesting or unusual cheese. There is more choice in your local supermarket. I struggle to understand how this is an attraction.

We stopped in at Allansford Cheese Word on the last leg of our Great Ocean Road trip & were extremely disappointed. We walked in expecting a cheese tasting, only to find pre cut cheese samples, labeled with what kind cheese it was. The staff did not acknowledge that we were in their store, not even a 'hello'. Would not recommend... More

Good stop for a restroom break, cheese sampling, a bite to eat, assorted groceries, and gourmet gifts. The Warrnambool Club Cheddar is excellent and just won an award. Wines, crackers, sweets and other accompaniments are in good stock at market-rate prices. Also, the gas at the local fuel station is consistently slightly cheaper than in Warrnambool, so fuel up!

We hit up cheese world on a rainy day after a morning of seeing the 12 apostles. It was a great stop, warm decent coffee for us and cheese toasties and milkshakes for the kids. The store was great lots of samples, we purchased lots of local treats all were delicious the sales people were helpful when asked and seemed... More
