Very well reconstructed, building where you can come and live in a minute. Visited in the summer but now in autumn is much better.

Nicely renovated castle near Prague. Nice interiors as well as surroundings of the castle. We´ve been there two times. Interesting style of castle guide but saying everything. They have also programs for families and their children to gradually teach children the history and relationship to the sights of our rich republic. Also program for small children as a art workshop and show of puppet underground etc.

After a lot of research I chose to take my children to this castle today because they had childrens tours advertised online. I realised from the website that nothing was going to be in English, but thinking they are a child orientated venue thought we would be happily welcomed. I was told that yes there are childrens tours but only in Czech over and over again with a hint of 'so not suitable for you' vibe. Then my children were rudely startled by a staff member who didn't like where they were standing in the reception room. She was very un welcoming and I felt like we were bothering her by being there asking questions about there tours. We left after a very awkward and confusing conversation and they seemed not one bit sorry to see us go. So disappointed, I would have really liked my children to see what was on offer, even in Czech. If you are going to offer children suitable options then be approachable and friendly.
