Totally disappointed in today's visit. We went after school only to find that nothing was open to see the cows etc .none of the other rides were open either.so the choice was literally the indoor play area and the outaide park bit .whilst in the indoor play area a child has had accidently wet themselves on the ropes above the slides.so rather than get it instantly sorted the staff just wondered around and chatting about the incident .in the mean time another child had gone down the slide and got soaked with urine .which had the staff had closed the slide bit This could of been prevented . Total waste of money .most definitely will not be going back there after school again .

A great day out for everyone.

A great park for people of all ages. My 3 year old, myself 33, mum 62 and nan 86 visited here last week. It was great value for money. The indoor play area is a great size and has things for babies up to teenagers. There is a good variety of animals to see and feed and lots of space so feels safe with coronavirus at the moment. There are plenty of things for kids to play on such as riding electric cows and tractors to a mini climbing wall, pedalo boats and the zip wires for older kids. The restaurant was great and not over priced and the farm shop was lovely with a great choice of food. Would definitely recommend a day or afternoon here.

A lovely family day out

A great day out for the all family. Lots to do and see here and really good value for money. We visited with our two young boys and had a blast for 6 hours or so. Food in the restaurant is good value and tasty too.

Great day out and excellent value all round
Sep 2021 • Family
Had a great day, our 8 yr old really enjoyed it, plenty to do, we could have stayed for another couple of hours easily but were tired after being there 5 hours.
All of the staff were absolutely excellent, from the canteen, to tractor driver, guys on the ropes were nice and jolly, bumper boats lady was happy. Made a massive change from some of the miserable lot down in cornwall this summer!

Food in the cafe was excellent, friendly happy service and very well priced, great value!

Overall thought an excellent value day, I can’t believe that some people are moaning some of the things are run down etc, for the cost of the entrance fee, the amount of free activities, tractor ride, mini golf, lots of parks, boat rides, train rides etc is absolutely fantastic value

Thanks guys keep up the good work!

Good value full day out
Aug 2021 • Family
Haven't read some recent reviews on social media I wasn't too sure what to expect.
We got there early and went straight into the high ropes. My son was just tall enough for the high course rather than the little kids one but got scared and stuck. The staff were great and Frazer P went to help him move along before a family member went up to help him have a go and build his confidence. In the morning the queues weren't too bad for the rides, the bumper boat queue after lunch was the longest we waited, so would recommend doing the rides before letting the kids play in the park areas.
We looked at soft play and at first was too busy but we went back a bit later and it was slightly quieter.
The tractor ride was great, very informative. However we would be interested to know more about the different cows and whether the milk is separated as on the tractor ride we were told that the milk from the jersey cows was kept separate, but when we watched them being milked it seemed any cow went next and no difference in the tube the milk was collected in.
We took a picnic and there was undercover areas to sit with this as well as further benches. We bought ice creams which were a good size!
We didn't leave til nearly closing time so it is well worth the money.
Also unlike many places like this the staff generally seemed quite happy and cheerful, a few of the girls a bit more miserable, but many of the lads were happy to talk to people while they were waiting for rides and seemed to enjoy their jobs.

Well worth a visit!

Well what a great place to visit!! Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone of all ages! We visited whilst on holiday up near Bristol and was blown away by all the things to do here the tractor ride was fun and great for the children to see a working farm with the driver who was very informative and a really happy enthusiastic man, we have a 4 year old, 2 year old and a 4 month old baby and they all had an amazing day! Its great that everything is included in the price, especially the high climbing our son loved that and it was great that there was a smaller version for our little girl who felt part of it, lots for children to do on there own but also with adults, feeding the animals and soft play is always a hit such a good price for everything that is included.

Good value family day out with kids
Jun 2021
I went here with 2 other Mums and their children before the summer holidays started.
We all had a lovely day out, we found it great value for money.
We never had to queue for any rides (apart from the tractor ride which wasn't long to wait). We all loved the Jurassic jeeps, we went on it several times!
At the time we went everyone as given a wristband on entry for a different time to go into the soft play which meant it wasn't too crowded.

There were lots of animals for the kids to look at throughout the park and we attended a meet the animals session, where we got to walk along and stroke 3 different animals which the kids enjoyed.

I would love if they changed the milkshake they offer from Shmoo as it was vile tasting, none of our toddlers could drink the artificial tasting liquid!

Great value but becoming tired
Aug 2021 • Family
Going back 7 years we were annual pass holders for a few years until we moved away from the area. We went back for the first time in a few years today. There is loads and loads for kids to do and it's been lovely to see the place gradually expanded. I love the fact you don't pay extra for things like high ropes and rides. Food is good enough and prices reasonable. The place is tidy if not perfectly clean in all areas.
Some things are beginning to show their age though. The barrel ride didn't go up in the air today and the bumper boats no longer squirt.
I was disappointed to see the birds gone too as we use to love seeing them.
I actually think less time would be better on the bumper boats and little kid boats. We got a bit bored on them before the time ended, especially as we couldn't squirt each other anymore.
For future expansions I'd love a walk in goat section.

Good morning, Thank you for your feedback, we're delighted to hear you and your family have enjoyed visiting Puxton Park! The horse and barrel ride is currently undergoing maintenance and we're looking forward to having it in full operation once again soon! After running risk assessments on the Bumper Boats attraction following our temporary closure; the sprayers on the boats were identified as a potential risk for cross contamination from one person to another, therefore with regards to covid safety awareness we have temporarily removed this feature - We look forward to reintroducing this feature once we feel there is no risk to the safety of our visitors. We will happily take your feedback on board and we look forward to seeing you again soon! Kindest Regards, Alistair Mead

Dairy farm tour horrible. Rides are ok.
Aug 2021 • Family
The rides and attractions for kids are quite good, but a bit rundown, big queues could be managed better. I’m really surprised you don’t have an ice cream kiosk. Really lacking there. Also bins were overflowing so rubbish being left all around. Not much choice in cafes. Not enough picnic areas.

The ‘tractor ride’ I assumed would be a fun spin around a bumpy field but no... it was a horror show, taking us into the dairy farm and explaining how artificial insemination is better for the cows (essentially cow rape and bull rape) - trying to make out like life is dandy for them before taking us to see the newborn calves who’ve been taken away from their mothers immediately and bottle fed formula while their milk is stolen from their grieving mums for human consumption. At least it might open some people’s eyes to the horrors of farming. Other animals seem cared for but need more space. Porcupines looked afraid and uncomfortable being on show.

Good morning, Thank you for your feedback. With our tractor rides we strive to deliver an educational experience that provides full transparency on the inner workings of the farm industry, this allows visitors of all ages with a clear picture of Puxton Park's vision for the ethical care and treatment of farm animals. Our animal handlers are fully trained and operate with the upmost integrity when showcasing the animals and are careful to asses the animals behavioral patterns at all times to determine whether the show can be conducted safely with regards to the animals and visitors well being. We do have an onsite staff who will empty bins at all times of the day, although we appreciate on this occasion there may have been litter we do ensure these instances are swiftly managed. We also provide an onsite ice-cream kiosk in our soft play area's café Clover which boasts a selection of flavours locally sourced and made in our park! Once again thank you for providing feedback to us and we hope to see you at Puxton Park in the near future Kind Regards, Alistair Mead

Well worth the money
Aug 2021 • Family
Absolutely brilliant day. Couldn’t fault the venue, staff very polite and friendly. Visited with a 3 and 5 year old grand children. They absolutely loved the animals, the train rides, tractor rides. Well worth the money. Although not enough seating for the soft play area but that’s only a small concern as my legs were aching! !
