I highly recommend this beach. Crystal clear water, long stretches of beach, and few people. We visited in late January. The weather was gorgeous and each time we came to the beach there were never more than 12 people on the entire beach. Fabulous! But, don’t forget the bug spray! The no-see-ums can be brutal! Oh, and don’t forget to look for the really great blow hole in the rocky outcropping (mid beach). It’s best near high tide.

We were in Eleuthera the week after New Years. This time of year was great almost every beach we went to was like have a private beach. What a beautiful Island with so many different beaches. Twin cove, Queens Bath, Lighthouse Beach, Ten bay and French Leave. French leave is beautiful, the water is turquoise and barely any waves. Perfect for a sit and chill day.

French Leave beach was one of the best I have been to in the Caribbean. The sand was soft, it was very clean and it was a very easy entry for people of all ages. If you are planning to visit, bring chairs and lots of sun tan lotion as there wasn't much shade where we were sitting.

We entered near the northwest of the Club Med ruins. There wasn't a ton of parking but weren't a lot of people on the beach. Most beaches we visited in Eleuthera were pretty quiet with lots of privacy. There may have been 30 people on the beach while is over a mile long (estimated) and about 75 yards wide.

Best beach we have ever been to, amazing water & pink sand, uncrowded. Flat entry along the shore - you could run easily on the beach. On the busiest day there were maybe 40 people on the mile long beach. We were staying at the resort so had a golf cart, cooler & chairs. Service was there often if you wanted it.
Waves were not too rough.

We drove our golf cart over from the French Leave Resort. The road is a bit bumpy to get there, and may have taken SUV next time. The beach is pristine, pink sand and secluded. French Leave resort has beach food service if you stay there, and some people ordered a picnic basket beforehand to be delivered at a certain time. I would not place an order there and wait for service unless you have 2 hours to spend. Get there early, and wait as the tide goes out in the morning or check the tide tables. The waves on this side of the island (Atlantic side) appeared a bit rough, so we did not wade out too far. A most peaceful experience!

This beach is so beautiful, quiet and pink! Several times we've been on this beach with no other footprints in the sand. A very long beach to take a lovely walk, water is clear and so many shades of turquoise and blue. This is a must see.

From start to finish the trip was excellent! Prior to arrival the concierge helped arrange transportation and suggested a great company for a day on a private boat snorkeling , seeing pigs and turtles. The villas are beautiful and well appointed. The food at the resort is tasty and the bartender is fantastic with tropical drinks. Each of the staff was welcoming and kind. We loved our stay and would happily return!

French Leave is a beautiful soft, pink sand stretch of beach easy to get to. The gorgeous turquoise waters and breeze invite for a day of relaxation and fun. There was some algae on shore but nothing to disturbe the beauty.
If you love Eleuthera and its beaches bring an extra bag and pick up some of the plastic waste you’ll find and dispose of it properly. This is truly a place worth preserving.
We came on a rainy day and still had a fantastic time.

This was a beautiful beach spoiled with trash that mostly washed in from the sea. I saw a person who appeared to be hired to clean the beach, but he napping for hours in a wheelbarrow he was supposed to be filling with debris.

My husband and I went here on our second trip to eleuthera and kept wondering why we had never come here before! Amazing beach. Almost secluded...we were here on December 26 and there wear about 20 or so people ( crowded by eleuthera standards) but that being side, the water is amazing! It's turquoise blue, the sand is soft and pink, and the beach is long...so if you're looking for privacy, you've come to the right place. On the beach , you can also visit the awesome tapas bar/ lounge " the beach house" where you can grab lunch, dinner or drinks and take a beer with you for a walk on the beach. Amazing. Couldn't have asked for more. Needless to say, my husband and I will be returning within the next few days. If you're thinking of traveling to harbour island for their " pink sand beach" ...stop right here.....10000% better with less people , less travel and less hassle .
