We were in Eleuthera the week after New Years. This time of year was great almost every beach we went to was like have a private beach. What a beautiful Island with so many different beaches. Twin cove, Queens Bath, Lighthouse Beach, Ten bay and French Leave. Twin cove was a great little area. The day we went is was very windy, so it we nice to have a area to block the wind. It has a cool area that you can hike on the rocks.

The snorkling at this beach is amazing, saw so many different species of fish. The beaches on each of the coves are beautiful. Bring bug spray if you sit high up near the trees, the no see ums and mosquitos ate me, unfortunately they love me out of 6 people. Didn't have any problem when we sat at the waters edge.

We discovered this beach last year, and vowed to return. And return we did, twice in the same week-long trip. it's FABULOUS when you have the whole thing to yourselves. We were visited by one couple on one day, and just a girl and her dog the second. BLISSFUL, listening to the ocean in stereo, where else can you do that?!

Beautiful beaches off a quiet, dirt road. Easy to get to and worth the trip. Some days you will have the beach to yourself. Soft sand for walking.

Second best beach of the whole island, right after the French leave one.
You just need to get there and enjoy the view, the and and the water. Difficul to describe how beautiful it is.

This was by far our favorite beach we visited. There is excellent snorkeling to be had here. We saw all kinds of tropical fish very close to shore, we went twice to this beach.

Not the easiest place to find but worth it down a very bumpy road loaded with scampering sand crabs. The access we found fit only two cars so we squished in across the lane. There were four other people on these two beaches and that's it. When those people left we were totally alone on a beautiful pinkish sand beach. Be careful as there is no safety of any kind in play here. If you want to walk out on the rocks between the two coves, bring good sandals. Easy snorkeling close to shore and while most of the coral seems a bit bleached, there was some beautiful purple fan coral and brain coral. We saw many different kinds of fish from sergeant majors to parrotfish. Sadly, lots of trash and bits of plastic wash ashore from far flung places so we did a trash sweep before leaving to assist and suggest others do so too. Beautiful place, so calm and worth the trip.

My kids call it the screen saver beach because it doesn't even seem real. A short drive from Governors Harbour, this beach is flanked by two identical coves. We found the most beautiful shells here. Try to go at low tide so you can walk out to the little island.

Too many patch reefs to get in and enjoy the water. Shallow...
No problems with bugs like Rainbow Beach.

Plan on bringing everything you need. No stores nearby.

Beautiful topography, tricky to get to. Good snorkeling. Water can be a little murky if it’s a windy day
