Achla beach and Gria lighthouse tour

The Achla beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece and for a good reason since it is much more than a beach. In fact, it is also an unusually rich environment with impressive plantain trees. In Achla Beach flows the Achla river, one of the three most big rivers of Andros, whose streams run even in summer, making it a significant attraction. It is vast, so it offers plenty of space for everyone.

It is a really lovely. Small build. There are several minutures of old shipping. If you pass by you should take a look. It is open only for a few hours every day. Check their schedule before you go there.

I payed 3 euros for a visit that could have lasted 2 minutes. Not much to see. I wouldn't recommend it, but try it. It will take you a few seconds to see the entire room. Outside is much better!

Not worth a visit especially if you have to pay for the tickets. Very small - 2 rooms with old ship models and some sea equipment. We finished to see everything inside in 15 minutes No air conditioner

Not really the museum I was expecting - I thought it might say something about the importance of Andros for shipping or, even, talk about nautical events related to Andros. This is did not. Mostly composed of photos, logs, and paintings of ships called Andros and some intricate models, it could have been made more interesting if there was some information about what you were seeing. However, it wasn't terrible - the paintings and models were beautiful and the museum windows provided excellent views out over the sea.
