Don't worry about the approach around the headland if wearing good beach shoes, can be rocky and you will get your feet wet.
Well worth the effort to get away from the crowds and find a quiet spot on the mainly shingle beach. Easy to park...More
Great beach for the morning. Road to the beach is quite adventure, you must climb rocks and go through wather. It can be very slippery at some point, so appropriate shoes are recomended. But the road to get there from public beach is not long,...More
My daughter and I visited this beach following recommendations from our hotels staff. We took the local bus from Skopelos Town, got off at Hovolo and enjoyed the short walk down to the beach. We were told to keep going to the left after the...More
It is worth walking the short rock-path to be there. It is a peace of mind. Magnificent view it is a combination of rocks and trees on the cliff, crystal - clean water. The access to the beach is easy and there is parking available.
You have to stagger over rocks in some parts through the water to get to a very thin, rocky beach. There could be rocks falling at any moment... you do feel like you've discovered it though and there's no touristic trappings there because of its...More
If you like a little adventure visit Hovolo Beach. It doesn't have a beach bar so take everything you need from the restaurants in Neo Klima. You need to walk 100 to 300 metres depending where you want to sit. Τhe path has rock and...More
An excellent choice if you want a clean and secluded beach. It is quite difficult to reach because you have to pass through rocks on the sea, but it's worth trying. Maybe the best beach on Skopelos island.
Hovolo is a hidden beauty which is rather difficult to get to, especially with kids or if you are taking beach equipment. The water quality is top, but the water sandals are highly recommended. The quiet beach is lingering beneath the white cliff with the...More
A must visit of Skopelos island. There is not a road to reach Hovolo , you have to take a small path of rocks near the sea.
The clean and deep blue water, the view and the beautiful sand will pay you back for the...More
Please Help. We arrive at the port of Loutraki. / Glossa / In early September, and our final destination is HOVOLO beach /Neo Klima/. How long it takes to travel there and how the local bus or Taxi. How much would a taxi cost? Thanks in advance

Loutraki, Taxi would be about ~10 €, bus about ~2 € each to Elios. There would be about 4/5 buses a day. Times should be posted on the shelter at the roundabout by the ferry quay. If I remember right they don't coincide with ferry arrivals so you may have a wait, plenty of cafes/ tavernas there. Hovolo beach is south from Nea Klima/Elios round some rocks.
