What an interesting story

We wanted to visit a small family own winery, and randomly pick this one. But what a good surprise! The ground is big with some old stones building. Marion herself was there... read more

This was our first experience of wine tasting in Tasmania and we were disappointment. After telling her our preferences we where given a "sweat white" to try that we thought was dry. One of us tried a red, a bit watery. The crunch came when after thanking her she asked for $5 each for 3 table spoons of wine. While... More

Marion left a lasting impression on me. You can tell she's never worked a day in her life as wine making is simply a hobby for her. One that's been part of her heritage for thousands of years (literally). You can enjoy the picturesque sequoias, the himalayan cedars, olives, grapes or listen to Marion tell the history of the vineyard,... More

We had started our wine endeavors in the morning at visited three other cellar doors before we found Marions. I have to say what a gem! The vineyard is on a steep hill which produces incredible views out over the river. The quirky cellar door is open to tastings and we tasted 6 wines. These blew our minds. The lighter... More

The owner came from the vineyard to help us experience their wines. Friendly and knowledge, she certainly taught us about her wines.... thanks :)

We wanted to visit a small family own winery, and randomly pick this one. But what a good surprise! The ground is big with some old stones building. Marion herself was there. There were not many people there,so we were able to chat with her and asked how her and her family ended up in Tasmania! ( I will not spill... More

Loved their wines, especially the Shiraz. Great views, garden and loved the quirky artwork in trees and surroundings. Well done.

We visited here on a vineyard tour and were so impressed by the beautiful wines available for tasting. Wine tastings are only $5 each or free if you purchase a bottle of wine. The wines are outstanding so it wasn't a problem finding a wine or three to purchase. Marion is a wonderful character who is so welcoming and really... More

Spectacular location with a very well appointed (albeit eclectic) chalet. A supremely serene setting with views you could never tire of. Hosts Mark & Marion are passionate and generous. A delightful experience awaits!

Tasmania is blessed with many great vineyards and fantastic wine most of which is consumed locally. Marion's was our first vineyard and didn't cut it for me. The white elephant is a long steel jetty that they built in the 1980s to attract boat trips from Launceston but they spent all their money and so never got around to finishing... More

We recently visited a few wineries along the Tamar Valley Wine Route. There are a couple that stood out in particular and one of them is Marion s Vineyard. Marion's Vineyard is a HIDDEN GEM tucked away a long Deviot Road. You can see that the owners, Mark & his wife Marion have put their hearts and souls over the... More
