I enjoyed amazing view over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House every afternoon. You can see people walking with their pets, lovely pigeons. It's best place to chill. There is also a ferry wharf where you can take ferry to the Opera House if you don't want to walk over the bridge. I just simply love this place, always... More

We are looking at moving back into the area so stopped here after some open homes. This park has billion dollar views across to Luna Park, SOH and SHB. Tiny beach for kids to play and also a small playground. A walk is available around the point but stops before Sawmillers Reserve. Just try and avoid looking at the eyesore... More

This is a great spot away from the hustle & bustle of the Sydney city. My husband & I walked from our accommodation in Blues Street Nth Sydney to Wendy's Whitleys Secret Garden after exploring the beautiful gardens we then walked on to Blues Point Reserve; this lovely grassed area we sat & took in the views of the city... Blues Point is the closest vantage point on the western side that you can get to to see the iconic Harbour Bridge and the Opera house. Scenic and beautiful in any type of weather. One of the best places to spend an evening or welcome the morning. The reserve is good for a walk along the water front!

Had a lunchtime stroll from North Sydney Railway Station, down Blues Point Road at McMahons Point and it takes a 10 - 15 minutes walk to reach the Blues Point Reserve. Saw that it is on the 254 Bus route, if you don't fancy the walk back up the hill. A few good cafes and restaurants are on the way... More

We cycled here over the Harbour Bridge and chilled out on a Sunday with a little picnic. A really great spot, plenty of space, it doesn't get crowded, free parking, a bus stop right there too.

This is justifiably a popular spot for picnics and people who want to sit and relax with spectacular views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. On your way there and back from North Sydney station you will walk down the lovely Blues Point Road with about a dozen outdoor cafes and restaurants. Avoid 30 and 31 December unless... More

We often take a walk down Blues Point Road to the reserve. Great spot to see the harbour, the bridge, the opera house and the CBD. Just can't fault the view. You'll often see weddings and fishermen sharing the space but not so many picnickers. On face value it looks great for that, but somehow when you get there it... More
