Make Popoyo a definite stop and take time to spend A few days especially if you are a surfer you will adore it! It’s a calm village along the pacific coast fishing , surfing and drinking around a barn fire on the beach

This is definitely a spot to grab a drink, and maybe some food. A beautiful little spot to escape the sun, or watch the waves from afar.

Nicaragua has undergone some political turmoil this year which has significantly hurt the tourism industry....this means some of the hotels and restaurants may or may not be open...but it is still as beautiful as ever and the Nicaraguan people are wonderful.

We stayed at a hotel nearby (Jiquilite beach) and Popoyo was a short walk from there. The whole area was one of the cleanest and best kept that I have ever been to in the area. The sunset from the beach or the restaurant on...More

Enjoyed the sights and sounds of this beach. Kids, adults, and the elderly of the city unit. This was an experience.
