Take a look at our website for a full list of day tours or our multi-day holidays. Being based in Ronda we are in an ideal location for a full range of activities from easy to challenging levels. Our qualified guides (native english speaking) will show you the best of the walking, cycling or mountain biking that is available in the Serrania de Ronda. We can provide a great day out for families, less frequent riders and of course experienced enthusiasts and with minibus support you can be assured that help is close at hand if you have bitten of a bit more than you can chew. Dont forget, we have electric bikes available if you are unsure of your fitness for riding in the Ronda area.

We highly recommend this holiday to anyone who loves cycling and wants to experience the beauty of Spain's countryside. The accommodation was great with excellent food and we were well-cared for by our hosts. The bikes provided were in excellent condition, making the cycling safe and enjoyable. Our guide, Wayne, was very knowledgeable about the area and provided interesting information about the villages we visited. He also took care of our safety and made sure we had everything we needed.
There was a different route every day and Wayne made sure we experienced the best of what the area has to offer. The views from high up the Sierras were stunning and the countryside beautiful. Riding the bikes at speed downhill off road was exhilarating.
Overall, the Hike and Bike the Sierras leisure cycling holiday is a fantastic way to explore the hidden gems of Spain's countryside. It's an unforgettable experience that we will treasure for a long time to come. We can't wait to return and do it all over again! Thank you Heather and Wayne.

Hike+Bikeis a company with a clear commitment to excellent service. From our first inquiry months ahead of time Heather and Wayne responded promptly to all our questions with clear answers. The 5-day self-guided route they had developed they provided quality gear and precise navigation; a route which brought us extraordinary views and vistas, and gave us an appreciation for the country that would never have come through car, train or bus travel. As well, we would never have identified on our own the great variety and quality accommodations they had organized beforehand. We arrived each day to find our luggage and room waiting for us.
Imagine our shock on the 2nd morning when we found that a car in the enclosed hotel parking lot had run over one of the bikes and pretty much demolished it. We were dumbfounded and dispirited. Yet it only took one phone call and within 90 minutes, despite being a good distance away, Heather showed up with a new bike and we were on our way. That speaks volumes about the individuals behind this company. They are people you can confidently trust to organize your tour and support your every need. Many thanks Heather and Wayne!!

We experienced a brilliant one day tour between Seville, Zaharia and Ronda ending in Malaga.Heather was so informative throughout the day and knew exactly the right places to take us both to get the best views and experience of the town.We stopped off for drinks at a wonderful rooftop bar overlooking the bullring then onto a fabulous restaurant overlooking the gorge. We couldn’t have achieved this without her. An extremely personable and knowledgeable host. We highly recommend this way of transferring between the cities.

Ronda to Granada June 2024
Our first time using a smaller locally based company for our cycling holidays after exhausting our options of 20 years plus of using large companies.
Heather and Wayne have a fantastic set up with quality bikes and also accommodating our various option requests such as spending a few more days in locations on our route.
We requested an extra night in Ronda and a couple of extra nights in Granada which Heather arranged with apparent ease. Our accommodation in a spa hotel in Ronda (additional cost for our request) was superb with a terrace off our room overlooking the Ronda valley, thanks Heather.
Wayne and Heather have selected some fantastic locations and places to stay. The accommodation for us were perfect with small and friendly set up of the highest standard with a memorable stay in Alhama de Granada where we had a beautiful apartment with a terrace overlooking the gorge.
If I could pass on our tips for other cyclists intending to take this tour, we would add additional night in Antequera and Alhama de Granada and perhaps Ardeles to explore the area and soak up the Spanish atmosphere and visit some of the local attractions and local food which is incredible value apart from Ronda.
Also, take rehydration tablets which we overlooked to our cost and Ian had a bit too much sun combined with dehydration causing nauseas for a few days. This resulted in us asking Wayne and Heather if they would be able to supply us with e-bikes to enable us to continue the holiday which were delivered to our accommodation the next morning ….. thanks both, saved our tour.
This was our very first-time using e-bikes and they are brilliant for providing a little or a lot of help on the longer steeper roads and you can choose the level of help you need so you feel you are still using your own efforts to reach your destination.
We are looking forward to booking another tour in 2025 and perhaps even linking two rides together.

We enjoyed 3 great days of off-road biking. Wayne planned routes for us, all centred on the farmhouse where we were staying near Setenil. He provided routes for all levels of experience in our group with maps and apps to make the experience as simple as possible. This attention to detail was a winner.
One day we had a problem with one of the bikes while out cycling and we called Wayne. He arrived quickly and sorted the problem promptly.
This was a first class, personalized service. We can't recommend them more highly. We will be using them next year.

This last weekend, we made the best decision of our Spain trip so far: to go cycling with Wayne and Heather from Ronda to Sentenil. The ride was absolutely epic (to quote our 6 year old), and the (sadly socially distanced) conversation with Wayne was incredible.
Wayne and Heather are excellent guides, with fantastic stories to make the ride really interesting and fun. The ride itself was through really nice forest tracks - with very little on roads - absolutely ideal for little ones. My daughter absolutely loved the tag along (eventually, more on that below).
They were also incredibly considerate and patient when my little one developed jitters on getting on a tagalong bicycle and spent 30 minutes flatly refusing to get on the bike.
I cannot recommend this enough, and we only wish we were in Spain for longer so we could go on another ride

My wife and I did a 3 day bike trip starting and returning in Ronda. The tour was called the "White Villages Mini Tour". We had an absolutely wonderful time! Wayne and Heather took care of everything we requested including some last minute changes and we could not have been more pleased. We have done 6 bicycle trips in Europe using various companies over the last 7 years, all of which we enjoyed and this trip stood out as the best. We will definitely be coming back again in the future. I would definitely recommend this company!

Really enjoyed this really simple ride. We wanted a simple day as we knew the previous days would have been a challenge (had been to the Caminito Del Rey walk the day before and I hate heights). This is an easy to follow and complete route on an old railway line from Olvera to Puerto Serrano. We were picked up from our hotel in Ronda and transported to the start point which is a good 45 minute drive. Although a simple route you can enjoy the scenery on the route and we stopped to watch a field full of adult male bulls at play as well as a dozen Griffin Vultures flying quite low to the path. It is an easy and pleasant couple of hours.

Absolutely brilliant service. Four routes mapped out for us - we asked for 50kms tops, thankfully all were under. We were both over ambitious, didn’t factor in our fitness level or saddle soreness. The equipment provided allowed us to modify the routes given. Amazing rides. Lovely scenery. A brilliant holiday to Ronda enhanced by Wayne and Heather at Hike & Bike. Thank you both so much - literally couldn’t of done it without you. Highly recommend them - so helpful.
