Enjoyed my visit. It cured my thirst, hunger and weariness. Clean facility and the staff friendly. Definately go again.

Fun day trip, make sure you take snacks and water as there are no facilities on the island. Easy trail to the other side of the island to another small beach. Go during the week in the morning and you will have the place to yourself.

There's nothing here but a visitor center, changing rooms, and the wildlife. Bring your own water, lunch and lots of sunscreen! The iguanas, crabs and birds make for great nature watching and the water is crystal clear. Snorkeling is ok. Scuba diving seemed like it'd be great. Otherwise it's a slow day in the sun. The swimming is nice, but... More

It really is a Iguana Island. They are everywhere and they really are cool. Jurassic park light :) But be aware. There is one danger out here. The sun is really strong and especially if you are snorkeling it can kill your back. I talk from experience...

We went to Arenal Beach and hired Luis to take us Isla Iguana...I recommend him he is a good, honest person. He supplied fins and goggles, too. The beach is best at high tide as you can snorkel the reefs better as they are close to shore. There were soooo many hermit crabs on the beach and iguanas of course... More

If you have the opportunity to go to Isla Iguana, you will not be disappointed! The beach and white sands are beautiful! The shells are abundant! If you stop long enough...the beach almost looks like it's moving with all of the crabs living there. It hosts the largest migration of Frigit birds, beautiful to watch while you're spending a lazy... More

Pretty beach, lots of Iguanas and white sand.! Unfortunately it could be cleaner. Some broken glass and cans litter the beach and the bathroon facilities are not the greatest but the water is warm and heavenly! The boat ride to get there was an adventure.

Soft beige sand surrounded by clear turquoise water, even though it's actually in the Pacific Ocean. Not crowded. Not much to do. There is a small visitors center, a changing area, and a trail that you can use to hike to the other side of the island (short hike). Just sit there and enjoy the beauty or do some snorkeling...
