Today we decided to tackle a few Glasshouse Mountains. This was the first on our list. It was a super easy walk on a wide path. The 360 degree view was worth stopping for.

The views from here are beautiful. On a clear day the views would be perfect we went up and it was still foggy so they weren’t as clear as we had hoped! You are able to see a 360 view around the valley. The walk...More

Best time to go is in the morning so you are energetic to ascend this steep 700 metre walk on a wide pathway to the fire watchtower. There are no toilets so it’s best to stop at the service station or fast food restaurants at...More

As the sign board said 700m but steep have to agree but it was on a good path & in the shade: the 360* views from top made it worth the effort & able to look back on Glass House Mts as climbed the day...More

Wild Horse Mountain is just off the Bruce Highway. There is a carpark, usually, it is filled with hippie camper vans or even suspicious people hanging around in dodgy vehicles. So, please ensure you lock your car and keep your belongings out of sight or...More

I was looking for a short walk for me and my family to do and came across this one. It is only 700 meters each way which makes it possible to do with a 2.5 year old and a 8 week old. It boasts lovely...More

Visited WH Mountain at sunset as many pundits suggested, and was afforded wonderful views of the Sunshine Coast hinterland and coast. Archaic viewing platform which needs a refurb, so photos are better taken out of its shadow! The 700m walk is only moderately difficult and...More
