Ideal beach for sunrise
Jan 2021
Hire a bike at Rs.500 per day. Fill up a litre of petrol and go around. Sitapur beach is at one end of the island and Laxmanpur-1 beach is at the other end. Sitapur beach is most ideal to watch sunrise. Though locals say, go at 4:30am, google for the sunrise time and reach there 15-20 minutes before.

Awesome Sunrise views & also one of the best curvy beaches of Neil Island
Feb 2020
Awesome Sunrise views. Try to reach before 5 am to catch the vibrancy of colors in the sky. Also recommended for a visit during the day, silent & pristine location to relax. Amazing curvy sandy beach with blue waters. Strong currents, be careful while swimming.

Awesome Sunrise
Dec 2019
Waking up a 4 am and pedaling to Sitapur (Sunrise) Beach can be deeply rewarding. You will love to see the sun come up from the water, giving you a mesmerizing feeling. Definitely worth the effort.

several nice pools to swim in, even at low tide. crystal clear water, soft ground, even rocks are not cutting your feet. going barefoot no problem.

Beautiful secluded beach
Mar 2020 • Couples
Beautiful beach with good swimming spots.

It’s fabulously quiet with hardly any people so we went back a few times.

It’s worth a walk along the beach as there are big trees that have fallen into the sea and it’s very picturesque.

No facilities other than a few restaurant just up the road from the beach so take water.

Beautiful beach with less/no crowd
Feb 2020
Isolated beach on the east side of the island. very quite and serene place. Drove the 2 wheeler there and spent an hour just staring at the waves and walked the manless beach. Absolute gem of a place.

Sitapur Beach
Feb 2020
It’s a rocky beach and has a cave too.
You can find 1000 years old dead coral reef which is now black and contains a lot of life (hermit crabs) in it.This beach is the best for sunrise in the neil island. The water the texture of the clouds are just mesmerizing. But to see this beautiful thing one has to get up early.
