Matt our snorkeling guide was really fun and experienced. He gave us a quick lesson on what type of fishes and sea creatures we would see out on the tour. He made sure to give us tips to have a better experience while out on the water and always made sure to constantly check that we were all okay out there. Rambo the gentleman who checked us in was a cool guy as well he was very friendly.

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Cofresi Hotel for 2 nights without a vehicle. We were able to walk here and rent snorkeling gear and bicycles during our stay at a very affordable price. It was extremely convenient and accommodating! Highly recommend!

The staff was great!!! I’m a certified diver, but went on a snorkeling trip because my girlfriend isn’t a diver. The dive master for the trip was one of the best I’ve ever had. We ended up not completing the trip because soon after we started my girlfriend realized that snorkling induces panic attacks. Even though we weren’t able to finish our trip, I would still recommend them 100%.

The owner has a nasty attitude towards other local instructors and won't hire local female instructors. Only men and some american girls. The owner won't even speak Spanish to you and gets rude. She was rude and loud in front of customers and employees, saying she had a network of shops where she manages to damage other instructors reputation to become unhireable. I am a local instructor, but i came back home after one year of being abroad just to find this strange and wrong behaviour.

As the female owner of Rincon Diving & Snorkeling, our entire team welcomes qualified instructors and guides of all race & genders with a positive, professional attitude and ability to care for customers, staff and other team members. You applied for a position 1 day and then the next day, entered 1-star review #Cristina Lorenzo #TinaHairConnoisseur on the review sites without our even have responded to your application. When I asked you about the review you said it was you, but you wanted to talk to me about it. Really? What could you possibly say that would want me to hire you.
In our other location at Crashboat Watersports, when the instructor asked you to leave, you pooped on the floor. You don't know crazy until its at your door. Best of luck in your future employment efforts.”

Former USN/USMC Combatant Diver, 1st visit to Rincon.
I was fortunate to visit and train with Rincon Diving and Snorkeling last month (SEP2023) on vacation. The staff are professional, friendly, and on time. My instructor was pretty much the coolest ever, and I appreciate the training.

We had a awesome time with our instructor Waldo! He really took his time in teaching us how to properly snorkel when we first started. He allowed us to Interact with the animals in the water by placing them in our hands. Definitely would return and recommend to all friends!

I did my PADI Advanced Open Water course with Rincon Diving & Snorkeling and had a great time. This was my first time diving since the pandemic so I was a little rusty but my instructor Claire was amazing and made the whole experience fun, relaxed and rewarding. Would love to come back and dive again with the team here.
For anyone else looking to do AOW: I think this is currently the only shop in Rincon that offers an AOW course so you won't have any other choice in the area but you'll be in good hands. If the shop's website doesn't show the course as being offered during the dates you're looking at, just give them a call and they'll work with you to set one up.

The most patient and hospitable dive shop ever. Nothing was a rush. They took the time to make sure all of us were set to go. The dive was amazing. I can’t wait to go with them again. I felt safe and that they really wanted us to have a great time. Thank you Brenda! (Owner)

Outstanding snorkeling experience. Very sweet service from our arrival where Brenda took our temperatures and gave us hand sanitizer to our introduction to snorkeling practices with Waldo. He was friendly, well versed with the bathymetry or underwater surface topography of the location. We are new snorkelers and he made sure we felt safe which gave us the confidence to explore. He had a keen ability to spot sea creatures. With his help I saw two turtles, an eel, a flounder, and a nurse shark that we returned to visit in its cave hiding spot just at the end of our snorkeling day. We also saw many other fish including a barracuda, as well as a variety of coral types, and other underwater life too many to mention. The day was inspiring. If you are in Rincon do not miss the opportunity to go out for a few hours with Rincon Diving & Snorkeling!

We were scheduled for the Snorkel Safari on 4-11-19. Our guide was Izzy. Shortly after arriving at the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve Izzy determined that the conditions had changed from earlier and that it would not be conducive for the safari. The winds had shifted from the south in excess of 13 knots. As a result there was a lot of chop. They offered to refund our money or we could reschedule.
Fortunately, we were able to reschedule for the next day.
The next day the same group assembled and we headed out. This time Darryl accompanied us as additional folks were expected; but they did not arrive.
On both days we were provided with an understanding of how the equipment should fit and how to use it properly. Nothing was left to chance. Izzy was very patient and he did not rush any of this process.
This format continued while we were at the Preserve. Both men were well informed regarding the habitat we explored. The whereabouts of each member of the group were properly monitored. Izzy or Darryl would describe something and then dive towards it to point it out to us. They have a wealth of knowledge and respect for the reef.
Given what we experienced today I could see how it would not have been good yesterday. Izzy had made a wise decision.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this organization since they put safety before revenue. I would not consider going anywhere else and look forward to the opportunity of bringing our granddaughter.

You CAN scuba dive without prior experience. What you can do is complete is a DISCOVER SCUBA DIVE. This course is for someone who has never dove before and would like to try it before taking the full dive course. The details are:
Discover Scuba Diving Adventure: (half day)
Pricing: $125 includes all equipment and instruction (plus tax) Add another dive in same day for $60 more
Minimum age: 10
Prerequisites: Ability to swim. Prior snorkeling experience helpful.
Description: This introductory dive is a highly supervised, guided shore scuba dive under the direct supervision of a diving instructor. You will start with a 30-45 minute dry briefing on basic diving concepts and scuba skills. This will be followed by a safe dive on a section of the reef. Your dive will only take you as deep as 12 metres (40 feet) and your diving group will be limited to 4 or less per instructor. Generally your dive will last approximately 30 minutes, and during that time the instructor will be with you at all times . . . and if you want, even hold your hand.
You can even do a second dive to a different location for an additional tour fee.
NOTE: This is not a certifying course, and instruction will only apply to that try scuba experience.

We offer guided dives for all snorkeling and diving tours. IF you are a certified diver, bring your dive card and we can certainly rent you all the gear you need and give you a site briefing for you to have a self-guided shore diving adventure.

For SNORKELING for children ages 5 to 95: Our snorkeling tours from Aguadilla or Rincón's shores are customized to the skills of the customer. Not everyone has snorkeled before so with each tour we discuss and train on the basics of snorkeling so that everyone gets the chance to feel comfortable on the surface of the water, and, if they are ready, to dive down for a closer look. You and your guests will learn:
ü The proper selection of snorkeling equipment
ü The safety considerations of snorkeling in the backyard pool or the local beach
ü The skills and techniques of snorkeling
ü The responsibilities of equipment care
ü How to plan a snorkeling adventure and,
ü How to protect the aquatic environment by becoming a NAUI Eco-Champion Snorkeler
Your tour will last as long as three hours. Everything is included in the cost of $50 per person (plus 7% tax). If you have your own equipment, it is okay to bring it so that you know you get the best fit.
Snorkeling tours are by reservation, but generally start at 9 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. Groups are small and often your group is given a private tour of the reef. Snorkeling location is based primarily on skills of the group and weather conditions.
WANT MORE ADVENTURE? If you want something a little more on the adventurous side, you CAN scuba dive. What you can do is complete is a TRY SCUBA-ADVENTURE DIVE. This course is for someone who has never dove before and would like to try it before taking the full dive course. The details are:
