Desecheo is a truly special island, gorgeous natural environment. Captain and crew member were lovely and helpful. There were snorkelers (us), experienced divers and novice divers all on the same trip, and everyone seemed to love it. Only issue was, it was windy and the...More
I am a divemaster who has dove all around the world, and Desecheo is up there with some of the best. 100 ft vis. I saw several humpback whales, a bunch of six foot nurse sharks, and loads of fish on the reef. Fun swim...More
I walked in and asked if they did whale watching in a catamaran. It wasn’t the catamaran I expected. Basically a dive boat with 2 hulls. We didn’t see any whales, which wasn’t their fault but they did nothing to entertain on the 2 hour...More
Awesome dive and best drives I've had. Got to hear whales in the distance and that alone was spectacular. It can get a little choppy getting to desecheo but it's worth it. The crew was friendly and kind and very knowledgeable. A+

I’m sorry your experience didn’t live up to your expectations! I was the Captain on the boat this day. I witnessed the Divemaster give the snorkelers a detailed briefing on where and not where to snorkel and most importantly safety! We always emphasize safety and...More
We are a family of four. Two divers and two snorkelers. We all had a great time. Of course the divers saw more than the snorkelers, but I enjoyed watching the helicopter landings. Apparently, it is one of the hardest places to land because of...More
