Great job by Captain Frank and Jared! Conditions were beautiful and trip went out as planned. We dove two separate spots near the island and everyone had a great time. Seas were a bit choppy out and in but otherwise it was excellent. Lots of fish, and even got to see a 60 yr old WW II era 500 lb... More

We booked a trip for our group of 4 after Taino kindly found enough spaces for us on a boat despite being solidly booked for the holidays (call ahead to book during busy season!) We had our own gear so I can't rate their rentals; but our 2 friends decided they wanted better quality masks and fins and they seemed... More

This is a great operation. Very organized. The trip was excellent and the dive master was fun and knowledgeable about the area. Everyone was professional and everything was clean and in excellent condition. I would have liked to take a few more dives with this shop but they were booked. I recommend that you book your dives prior to getting... More

After looking at the outline of Desecheo Island many times, I was finally able to experience what is one of the best dive locations in PR. Taino Divers made it easy and enjoyable. The shore access method they use to load the boat (short bucket brigade style passing of gear from truck across beach to boat) will quickly break the... More

Diving at Desecheo was one of the highlights of our trip! Due to the fact that the island is protected by the government and is 14 miles offshore, there is little boat traffic. The corals are alive and vibrant and I have never seen so many schools of fish above the coral. We also saw a large nurse shark and... More

My first time diving in Puerto Rico and it was glorious. The island is teeming with fish, lush coral, and plenty of nurse sharks and sting rays for those that are not satisfied wth enjoying the little things. Crew was super nice, very friendly, helped with a gear problem, and just had a great vibe. I love the way they... More

We did a dive to Desecheo Island. Captain Frank and Eduardo were excellent onboard. Frank did a superb job of briefing us on the vessel and the safety equipment onboard (many other dive companies should take note from Taino Divers!) The drive to Rincon from the East side of Puerto Rico is also a bit of a haul, but worth... More

We stopped in to set up a scuba dive trip and found out that it was (1) the off season and (2) poor visibility and too choppy. They would have taken us if we insisted but the person behind the counter was very honest and told us where we could scuba for free, and all the local beaches and what... More

“Taino divers is the way to go.” It was worth driving all the way to Rincon from San Juan just to experience Isla Desecheo. I like to say “THANK YOU VERY MUCH” to Captain Frank, Eduardo and Anthony of the Taino Divers. This gentlemen makes you feel welcome and a part of their crew the moment you arrive at their... More

The water around Desecheo is teeming with fish and crystal clear. My husband and I went with a boat of seven snorkelers. We saw dolphins and sea turtles on the ride over to the island. While snorkeling, we saw dozens of different kinds of fish (parrot, puffer, barracuda, etc), sharks, and more turtles. There are swim throughs and caves to... More
