This course was excellent!! The Hayloft is very well presented, warm and comfortable. The Pig and Apple’s food and ambience were very much appreciated. Farmer Tim made the hedge laying both interesting and satisfying, the hours flew by and we achieved a length of very acceptable stock-proof hedge. It was so good I really felt like carrying on the next day!!

My first visit to Humble by Nature for a one day hedgelaying course. It was a fabulous day and hard to fault in any way. Great tutors, lots of hands on experience and generally well organised. Refreshments and meal were really good and my vegan request fully met. I finished the day confident enough to try hedgelaying back at home.

Wow and wow again my husband and I stayed in the Hayloft and my son and his partner stayed in the Hideaway so I had the best of both worlds, everything was thought of, both the Hayloft and the Hideaway was spotlessly clean, the animals, trees, woods & flowers & plants were therapy in itself, the staff were both friendly & helpful, a special thank you to Jess & Jake in the Pig & Apple cafe, the place & food were amazing, we are already talking about next years stay. Gold Stars all round and a BIG thank you :-)

Well worth visiting this place with family and children. They have everything here. Lots of free parking, located near Monmouth, the farm, great cafe, wood fired oven cooking classes can be booked. Something for everyone and all ages. Recommend.

For the last 2 years we have attended the 24 hr lambing. It is hands on experience which is authentic and real. Farmer Tim certainly taught us how to look after help and supervise the ewes lambing. I was sceptical initially but have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anybody. It is hands on and real and whilst the lambs are cute you can experience what happens in nature and loose a lamb or ewe
