We have some nice pewter shops in Halifax but this rivals them. Got a very nice dragon book mark. The emphasis, however, is on Cape Breton/Scottish pewter items. If you’re on the Cabot Trail, drop by.

I love pewter and this stop had it all. Bought a lovely pewter Christmas tree ornament and my husband bought me a lovely pewter star fish pendant. If you are looking for a gift for someone, you will likely find it here.

Yes, pewter will not melt your brain.” Owned by artisans Harold & Donna Frizzell., pewter is composed of 92% tin. We were interested in their delicate designs and there are scores of choices. They specialize in Celtic and Scottish jewelry. TIP: if travelling with children, have them pick up the heavy solid pewter bar.

This is a small shop, but it does have some nice pewter pieces. Of particular note are the Celtic pins - as they have quite a huge selection of various sirnames represented (great gifts for friends of Scottish heritage)

Before you get to ingonish going north on the Cabet Trail, you will see Piper Pewter on the left. Their pewter products are designed and created on site. There is a vast selection of jewelry and other pewter items. All of the jewelry comes with your choice of two lengths of chain but when I was there the owner offered to make a chain longer than the standard length. Although you can find the Pewter Jewelry everywhere in Nova Scotia Piper is unique.

Stopped here on Cabot Trail and enjoyed a peruse of the various ornaments and jewellery on offer. Friendly gift shop and left with couple of items crafted locally.

This is a small store early into the Cabot Trail from Baddeck. Although small, it has an excellent selection of pewter items from earrings to pendants and other jewellery items. All of the items are very reasonably priced and it is hard to pass something up. Most of the pieces are made by local artists and reflect a Celtic theme. The owner is more than willing to talk about the items and the artist that made them. Lots of parking available. Of you are looking for some nice pewter jewelery at very reasonable prices this is the place to go.

It is hard to resist a gift shop while travelling around the Cabot Trail and this one did not disappoint. I found several items to purchase and felt like they have offered their products at reasonable and affordable prices. Nice job with the selection of offerings.
