We went to Wadi Bani Khalid after a long search because there are no indications for it. It was worth a long search tho...It was too hot but we cool ourselves by diving into the pools. We had a great time at wadi, highly recommend visiting there. Also a tip is to bring your food and all supplies with you... More

We headed to WBK without having been there before. Not very well sign posted and it was difficult to find accurate GPS coordinates. Basically we drove through the town and followed a sign to the caves then followed that road all the way to the end where there is a car park and small turn around area. Park down the... More

This is my 5th visit and every visit i find it more beautiful than the previous visit. The front entrance part of the wadi is always crowded and most visitors end their visit here, but I suggest to go a bit inside on to the mountains, bit of trekking, and you will find fresh water and ideal places to swim.... We had some problems finding this Wadi, its hidden in the mountains, but its 100% worth visiting. We met a local boy who showed us the way and took us to the Mucqul cave. he had some hidden headlights in the cave and we went in. Inside the cave, you will need a guide, because its too dark to see... More

We went for a one day trip here. Located between Sur and Muscat on old route. This wadi is clearly tourist favourite. After parking the vehicle approx 0.8 kms before. U can see the natural water pools but the true beauty lies ahead of them on route to the cave. The whole road is fun filled trek which keeps cutting... More

Of all the wadis we visited in Oman, this was undoubtedly the most beautiful - plenty of water, a long waterway with a multitude of different corners and open areas to explore. At several spots, the river floods the road, which is in very good condition. Especially right at the parking area for the cars, there is water over the... More

it is worth the visit and the bath. It consists of different small pools made of stone. The water is crystal clear.

This Wadi is more organized than the others we visited, in fact there is a restaurant and toilets. Unfortunately both closed when we went there because of a police control on the day. Our guide told us is very common to swim here, and indeed quite some Omani people were doing it as well as some tourists. However, he asked... More
