This site has been developed but is still well worth a visit. The natural pools are beautiful and lovely to swim in. The climb up through the canyon to the cave is great though we didn't go into the cave itself - the entrance looked a little too challenging. The restaurant serves basic food which looked ok though we didn't... More

Such a beautiful place! I thoroughly enjoyed visiting here. A short walk away from the parking. You can walk about 1-2km further into the Wadi and you can explore some caves. There was a boy outside who took us into the cave! The water was lovely, great to swim in and very refreshing. You can jump/dive off the bridge in... More

Visited this wadi in August. It was very nice but also quite hot at this time of the year! Let's say around the 45 degrees Celsius which could feel like 50 more or less. Make sure you bring proper "hiking" gear, such as trainer shoes and a towel for your face. Bring a lot of water and your swimming stuff!... More

Really nice place to take bath in nature. We loved it and sure will plan in future to visit again. Before going carry the food stuff with you as limited shops available in the location. Plan for two days if you wish to visit sand dunes near to this area.

This Wadi is very beautiful...but it has been a little developed with a cafe/restauarant, toilet block, etc. This doesn't detract from the experience, but if you are looking for an unspoiled and more secluded experience there are plenty of other wadis that are totally natural.

We didn't stay too long but it is a lovely little oasis. Put your feet in the water and let the fish suck the dead skin off your feet. It was pretty funny! One down side was seeing a group of young men going for a picnic kick and drag a live sheep along by a rope for their lunch.... More

After a 3 hour drive from muscat, through mountains ridges and the desert you arrive at this spectacular wadi. It starts of with rice fields and date palms. Then you arrive at the 1st pool, with a restaurant. Clothed swimming is mandatory here as you are close ro the villages. Please hike along the rocky terrain up to the waterfalls... More

It is approximately 3 hrs from Muscat. The drive is scenic. We saw the landscape transition from mountains to barren flat land with few shrubs to sand dunes. This Wadi is reportedly one of the nicest. There are caves here also but we did not have time to make the walk. Also, the ground path was uneven and required a... More

Wadi has lost at least some of its beauty due to the restaurant close by the pools. Easy to reach through a very good road.
