We came back from Marrakech last Sunday and the highlight of our short holiday was a day trip to the Atlas Mountain organized by GetYourGuide. We wanted to do a trek but because of the heat we decided to pick the easy and comfortable option of a 4x4 Private Escape and we were not disappointed - a bit pricey but... More

We have just come back from morocco on the 20/05/2016 It was a trip for me and my son and i thoroughly enjoyed it, The drive up to here was pleasant and the scenery on the way was just surreal , The waterfalls were beautifulla and the mountains were like something out of Tomb raider Defiantly a must if you... I did a 5 day trek up Jebel Toukbal which was unbelievable, the views from any height were fantastic, we could see all the way to the Sahara from the top. If was super hard trekking, high altitude and rough tracks but well worth it. The people were very friendly and always happy to chat.

We went to the mountains as part of a trip organised by Marrakecdaytrips. The views were stunning and even though the roads were narrow with steep drops I felt completely safe in the hands of our driver. We all agree that this trip was one of the most enjoyable and memorable of a lifetime! All the elements were in place... More

Rented a car to go to a few places around Marrakech and one was the Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas mountains, south east of Marrakech, on the way to Telout and its Kasbah, long since abandoned. The experience was at times harrowing. On top of hair-pin turns, narrow roads, broken barriers, rocks on the road and speeding Mercedes,... More

The Atlas Mountains are spectacular and well worth a visit, we drive through en route to the Sahara each year and the mountains never fail to impress. The road is currently being widened and improved so expect a few short delays.

This was the highlight if our recent trip to Marrakech! The mountains and waterfalls are stunning and so close to the city! It is not an easy trek and if you find walking difficult may mit be the one for you, but the guides are very helpful and friendly. A must do if you are visiting.

I chose to book a day trip to the Atlas Mountains with Marrakechdaytrips, com based on a traveller review which was listed on here. I am glad I did because the Atlas Mountains was one of the best days out and places to visit in Morocco. The views of Mount Toubkal were stunning and one day I would love to return... More

A days trip from Marrakesh took us to the atlas mountains. We climbed up to the waterfalls seeing the breathtaking scenery. Lovely meal next to the river, our guide Rashid was fantastic. One problem I have though is the taxi drivers stopping at road side vendors to entice you to buy their over priced and poor quality tat.
