The tour took an hour and half. Our children particularly loved the half an hour they spent trying out sports using simulators. Our guide was informative too.

When we first saw the AIS 20+ years ago, it was in all its glory. It is now like a morgue! There is no one there, the professional athletes no longer reside at the AIS, it is full of sporting groups on camp, and full...More

When visiting AIS the highlight for students was Sportex. Students had the opportunity to sample many different sports, even Winter Olympics sports. Sportex needs to be booked in advance prior to your visit. Feedback from staff this year was that the shop lacked variety, compared...More

You have to do a tour- just saw the training gyms- would have liked to see the recovery areas. The pool was cool and great to be shown around by two athletes

Took the tour which lasted 1.5 hrs. The athlete guides where really knowledgeable. Spent 1/2 of the tour time in a interactive space which was not what i was interested in but 11 year had a ball. Bought the souvenir t shirt!

A colleague had recommended taking a tour of the AIS so we gave it a go. It lasted 90 minutes which was 30 mins in a 'games room' which gave an interactive, hands-on taste of a number of the sports like wheelchair sprinting/basketball, bob sledging,...More

Honestly, if it weren't part of the 3 in 1 fun ticket we wouldn't have gone. We decided to have a quick bite to eat while waiting for our tour to start. Given the lengthy wait (30 minutes for a toasted cheese sandwich) we were...More

Lots of fun, particularly in the hands on section where you get to test yourself and try some activities. We toured lots of buildings and it was good to have an athlete do the tour as they really understood what they were saying. Unfortunately we...More

Started our 90 min tour with time in the interactive Sportex Room which was great fun. There were only 4 in our group so we had plenty of time to test our skills on all the equipment. This was then followed by a tour of...More

Address is Leverrier St Bruce next to the Visitor centre. Now for accomodation close by that's not an easy question. There are no motels in the complex and the closest place might be at Dickson, with the Dickson Tradies... More
