We did the tour here. The first half an hour is inside a “gaming” area with various equipment for kids. The tour of the facilities was interesting but rudimentary covering the pool and a couple of indoor areas. The cafe was a big let-down. Very...More

This was the venue for 800+ person convention dinner. The room was cavernous but well set out with good spacing between tables, a well sized dance floor and large stage area. Acoustics were good as were the projected images behind the stage. Food quality on...More

My children were expecting state of the art facilities but they were slightly dated. However the tour guides were very informative and open to questions. Over all very enjoyable

For anyone with an interest in sport it is well worth doing the tour. Hosted by AIS athletes, it provides a great insight into the training and facilities. As noted by some of the contributors the facilities are a little dated, but nothing too shabby....More

Paid $20 for the tour. The good aspect was that it was hosted by an athlete who 'lived' the AIS lifestyle. Interesting for a sneak peek. Facilities were highly disappointing. So old and barren. Only the swimming pool and advanced section appeared modern. Unfortunately the...More

This was a great place to take two teenage grandchildren who both have an interest in sport. The tour and the guide we had were both excellent. It was interesting to get an insight into the depth of technology which comes into play with the...More

Paid $20 for this tour of 90 minutes. It wasn't great. The first 35 minutes were spent in Sportex, which included some simulations and interactive displays, fine for children, but for older persons too long. Strange way to start, perhaps be better at end of...More

Address is Leverrier St Bruce next to the Visitor centre. Now for accomodation close by that's not an easy question. There are no motels in the complex and the closest place might be at Dickson, with the Dickson Tradies... More
