An interesting little church
Nov 2019
Founded in 1876 (built 1874-76), this interesting gothic style clittle hurch was a Chapel-of-Ease to All Saints Church, Brenchley. Consequently, it has a short tower for a single bell and can take a congregation of 200. There is an interesting grave in the churchyard; the grave of Matfield resident and sculptor Teresa Sassoon. Teresa Sassoon had threes sons, the middle one being Siegfried Sassoon, one of the leading poets of the First World War.

A fine neo-Georgian church
May 2016 • Friends
An interesting church which was once in the Quarry Road area of Tunbridge Wells.
This church was built post First World War. There is a carpark and a hall.
It seems to be very active: various fetes and weddings plus Christenings too.
Sadly, the bells no longer chime through the night: a neighbour living opposite the car park complained and the bells have remained silent between 10 (?) and 7.

My Church
Jun 2015 • Friends
This is the church that I attend. There is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A very good Sunday School which my son is in charge of. Our lady vicar has been there for about 5 years and works hard to include the children in events. There is a week in August every year which the children can attend. It is always good fun. This year it is Pyramid Rock Children's holiday club. We have wonderful stained glass windows, the central one being my favourite. There are a number of services during the week, Home Groups, Mothers Union, Brownies and walks organised. Our organ is beautiful and we are lucky to have 2 people that are able to play. The choir sings at 10am communion once a month. We are indeed blessed.
