Typical French the way this was set up, but it's mainly for school field trips. Children might enjoy it, but for adults it's a waist of time to my opinion, better go hiking in the beautifull region of the Auvergne and see why this truly...More

The lines were long for attractions that aren't even worth queuing for... Dont bother with this place.

I’ll start with the only good points: staff us very nice and the site is very clean. Other than that there was nobody there (which was already a sign), we didn’t have to wait in line. Rides (if we can call that rides) are very...More

I finally made it to this centre of Vulcanology built in a mountain side. You will need about 6 hours to explore the different galleries, experience earthquakes and tsunami, ride a lava flow and much much more. This is not an amusement park, it’s an...More

Vulcania had the potential to do very impressive and interesting attractions but focused everything to educational stuff. Nit that it's bad but it tends to be boring for adults. The entry is quite expensive I would recommend to come only during week ends with your...More

Very nice visit, no wait on a long week end in may. Doable in a day, attractions are nice but mostly scientific - no high thrill roller-coaster. Very good for teenagers.

We visited Vulcania in August, I have never experienced such long queues at any other theme park before or since, it really was a dreadful day. We spent our entire time in enormous queues for just two extremely disappointing attractions and ended up leaving early...More

We spent the entire day at Vulcania, with a 6 year old and a 2.5 year old. The park thrilled our 6 year old, who loves both volcanoes and dinosaurs. For him, it was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip to France....More

This place isn't a theme park, however it is the best interactive, experiential museum I have ever been to. It is good value for money. The whole family will enjoy it and learn from it. The waiting times for the 4D experiences were fine. There...More
