Love this place!!
Folks are all very personable and knowledgeable. Facility is amazing, and well kept.
I've been several times, alone and with friends.
Look forward to going back!!

Horses were great. Trail guide named Karen sucked. Before the ride even started she was whipping and yelling at her horse for misbehaving. That scared my kids. My kids are not experienced riders and all she did was yell at them the entire ride which made them even more nervous which caused them to make more mistakes. We went last year and had a great time with the other guide. We will not be going back.

Horses and pony’s were great, and the atmosphere and setting were fantastic, but the older woman who works there was very unfriendly and argumentive, and as the trail guide just really took the fun out of what should have been a fun time for the family. The younger woman there was very pleasant and friendly, along with the young man who helps out.

Visited on 9/19/19 to preview rv spaces and dry camping with a horse. Glad I did because I was treated VERY RUDELY by Rachael. Im glad I went without dragging my horse. There is not even a site. Just a weedy parking spot. Wont be back and I will share my experience. Thanks for all your help. NOT!

We were a little disappointed. We were not greeted in any friendly manner. It seemed we were a bit of an imposition to the girls who helped us mount as well as the guide. We paid for the one hour ride for two people. We left at 2:30 pm and had dismounted before 3:15 pm. First time we were ever short changed on time on a trail ride anywhere. The horses were well behaved and responsive to cues. Was just a bummer to feel unwelcome especially when paying customers. My friend tried to chatter some conversation with our guide to warm up the atmosphere but it might have irritated her even more? Oh well. Maybe just a bad day at the ranch. Might give it another try next time we are in town... or just try another stable. The forest is beautiful and there are many trails to ride so we definitely recommend horseback riding somewhere when in the area.

Sorry to hear your experience wasn't all that you expected. We did a ride for four at 1pm and did not have any rides after that on the 18th. I'd like to confirm your ride was with us and if you can recall your guide's names that would be appreciated because if it was us we'll make it right for you. Thanks!

We had the pleasure of taking a 2 hour ride with Rachel on Sunday and it was fantastic! Well behaved horses, gorgeous scenery and professional staff. I highly recommend doing the 2 hour Springs Trail ride! We will for sure be back next year!

My wife went on the two hour ride. It was just her and the guide. They rode the trails in the National Forest near Pinetop-Lakeside. She says the guide was friendly and informative.
The day before the ride, she talked with Rachel(the owner) and was happy with her.
This stable is highly recommended.

The horses were great, but our guide was a little impatient. I noticed she was a bit snappy when the horses were assigned. There was only one guide for 6 riders and she rode in the front. My son and I rode in the back and could barely hear her. We came to a busy street and the 5 ahead of us made it through before a car came. We waited for the car to stop before proceeding and she let us know that’s not the right thing to do. She even was stern with my 12 YO son a second time. She said that it’s dangerous to stop. Ok, I take her word for it. It would have been great to have been told in advance. It was the first time we had ridden. Better yet, it would have made for a better experience with a guide also in the rear. No offer to take pictures of anyone on their horses. Nice animals but we didn’t leave with a feel good feeling. I’m an avid reviewer. We have mostly had very positive experiences....cannot really recommend this activity.
