Lack of organisation and customer relations. Had three boys aged 8-10, a Christmas gift of 30minute race broken up into three 10 minute sessions with a 10 minute break between each one. First two sessions went well. However, we waited well over an hour for the last race session. We enquired several times over the long wait and were given different answers each time. It was an extremely hot day, with little shade and nothing else to do but wait.
It started out an exciting day but ended up as a tiring, disappointing day. As a token of good will we were given an option of an extra 10 minute race if and or when we book again. The next day the company sent us a thank you for choosing us email and to write a review. So I have.

i come from a motorsport background and have held a full cams licence as well as being a Flag Marshal for over 7 years. I fully expected a briefing and was happy enough with what they said about safety, driving behaviour and etiquette. However it appears that it was all words and no actions. One of the "drivers" that was on the circuit at the same time as us clearly didn't listen to the briefing clip or just didn't give a damn about his or anyone elses safety. For that matter neither did the staff there either. If he had driven like that at any, ANY, motor sport event that was properly managed he would have been black flagged on the first lap. You don't drive into people to get them out of the way. The staff did absolutely nothing even though he overtook 4-5 cars in a designated no overtaking zone hitting 3 of them on the way past.
One other thing is for some unknown reason they use a yellow flag to indicate the end of a session. The same flag as they use for someone who has spun out or if there is an incident ahead (which is what the yellow flag means roughly in the national and international racing fraternity). I saw the yellow and was looking for an incident and then saw the employee pointing toward the pit entrance so braked and turned in. Unfortunately my friend who was coming up behind me didn't and cleaned me up, T boning me in the side pod. I am still sore from this. They told us they only use the chequered flag for the corporate events. Sorry but that is crap and only causes dangerous confusion.
They do claim the karts do around 100kph also. Well they would have been lucky to reach 80 kph. Having said all that for most people they would be more than enough to punt around the track. We had a lot of fun in our group. It was amazing that we all got out and said exactly the same thing about the same driver in the other group. Made us angry that our safety had been compromised by the inaction of the employees manning the circuit. I hope that someone from there reads this. Don't get me wrong, this is a really fun activity and is recommended but they need to realise they have a responsibility towards their customers.

We have karted at numerous go kart venues throughout NSW and considering this is meant to be an international track, we were very disappointed. The shed, was just that a shed. The upstairs track viewing had no shade and there was rubbish lying around everywhere. Even helmets were seen inside tyres surrounding the track. The most respectable part was the cafe and party room. The karting too was disappointing. My daughter who is an experienced go kart driver (9hp karts) is 4 months off turning 16. She was refused to be able to drive 9hp karts and forced to drive a 6hp kart which she found extremely frustrating. Her times were even faster than others in a 9hp kart! Yet they would allow other 16yo customers with no karting experience at all to drive the 9hp karts. Where is the common sense here. We won't be back. Other karting venues have better tracks and much better karts.

Do not go here. Customer service is shockingly bad

Administration is terrible, I was trying to book in my husband and son for a lunchtime booking which kept getting rejected due to ‘time slot booked’ no other communication was given. The admin person then proceeded to book me in for session we could not attend. I assumed this an honest mistake only for that Admin person (Lisa) to state I did not listen and she tried calling (not true) and that they had advised children cannot ride during lunch hours. She then proceeded to argue and said I didn’t listen and was basically rude! I had no clue and provided screenshots of such.
Terrible service and just plain rude.

Came here for a mates birthday. My car was dodgy from the start, I offered to swap with a mate for the second round, and the kart stoped half way through my round.

These clowns blamed me for their shoddy kart.

Would not recommend. The boss Gary Holt is disgusting and extremely racist. Please don’t give him your money. 🖕🏼

The go karting itself was very fun but overshadowed by a terrible service, complete lack of communication and false promises both in wait times and race times.

We were initially told to wait 2.5 hours to which all of us agreed. After the wait, they told us to come back in another 30 minutes because of a "corporate event which was out of their control". After coming back, they promised we could finally race "in 5 minutes", which then was "another 15 minutes", and finally it ended up being an extra hour. It ended up being over a 4 hour in total and by then it was already completely dark and cold (winter).

I must also mention that it was our first time there and during the whole time we had to ask what to do and where to go, there was a complete lack of guidance or help and we felt ignored the whole time.

Finally the race itself was only 15 minutes, even though we paid for 30 minutes.

We are never ever coming back again there.

This has been my worst Kart experience so far, not just in Australia, but in the world (I've been driving karts in at least 15 different places worldwide as really love it).

We got there at 6.40pm (a group of 8 people) and paid $165 each for a grand prix experience on 13hp karts (which are supposed to be their best)...
After we paid, we are left to ourselves, no one to tell us where to go and what to do. We ask, and the receptionist tell us to go next to a small gate to meet the 'supervisor' (?).
He, angry as sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket, explains the rules, we are given a kart number and jump onboard. The Karts are awful, they are extremely old and it's clear that maintenance is absent.

We start the warm up (3 laps) that end up being warm up and heat laps all together (about 13 minutes).
My kart doesn't keep the speed (like a car with a faulty hiccup engine), after about 2 laps it simply stops... 5 minutes before someone realizes I'm there, and finally they send someone, they give me another kart and I try to enjoy the rest of the laps.
The tires have literally no grip, at every corner you go spinning unless you almost stop the kart to take it, which is what they want you to do. We finish the 13 minutes and without even leaving the kart for a break we are put on the nonexistent grid (no sign on the track) and get started at the green light for another 10 min heat.
All our karts get slowed down for at least 30% of the race, some of us get called to the pit because we go into the sand (as if we liked that), the karts were just the most unstable ones. And 3 of the karts stopped, like mine at the beginning.

We finish the 2nd heat (total on track 23 minutes with no break) and are finally allowed to rest.
There are no screens with time, no water or snacks given (after paying a total of $1320 for 8 people), no one to ask anything to, a kind of The Walking dead scenario. We meet the receptionist on her way to the toilet and ask for the time, 'yeah I'll print that' she said.
Just a piece of paper with the times on it. Fair enough.

We jump on the kart for this 20min final, no grid start, like one after the other with no order based on previous times, and since the beginning my kart (already the 2nd one) is slowed down. Like... a baby kart.
I go back to the pit and ask what's this? the supervisor said 'Ahh yeah you know why?' expecting me to beg him to reveal the mistery... 'please Mr supervisor enlighten me'... 'There is a block here on the side' he said.

I was furious.. 'how am I supposed to know that someone blocked it with the kart level??'
'yeah I know it's not your fault, do you wanna continue?' he asks

I tried to contain my rage and went back on track, 3 laps were ok and then again... I went back to the pit, jumped out of the kart and just yelled at the supervisor and the receptionist that this is all a joke.
He said he will call the manager at the end of the final. The final ends and all my friends are pissed because of the kart performances, either slowed down, or simply broken and not able to keep the speed.

When they complain, the manager told them 'You should have come back to the pit earlier then'...
In the meanwhile she said she will refund my money.

The underage boy working there calls us for the 'prize ceremony'. Alone in the dark, next to a smelly toilet, using his phone torch he tried to read the first 3 names on the list and called them to get their medals. No one of the group felt like celebrating anything, really, other than the fact that it was finally over.

At the time of the refund, the biggest suprise, they plan to refund $85 out of the 165 paid (but just for me). ... ... Livid on our faces we ask WHAT???
'I'm refunding the final' she said... 'and to the other I can give a credit to use the next time'.. AH! Next time yeah

I don't think further comments are needed here, other than telling you that we left the field after the nice 'supervisor' literally told us to F**k off!

We gently reciprocated his invitation and left, angry, hungry, thirsty and extremely disappointed.

The only reason why places like this work is because there is no much competition, that's a common issue in Australia, hence people come because they have no choice.
Go to places like Luddenham or Ultimate Kart Sydney if you want to have fun and value for your money, but most then ever, respect.

Enjoy your ride!

After reading the bad reviews, I didn't go with high hopes.
As expected, absolutely disappointed!!
So here is what happened:
1. My go kart was faulty - it wouldn't accelerate properly
2. They pulled me aside and helped another driver attached pedal extenders
3. After waiting a very long time (everyone else had done more than 5 laps) The staff said "Just get out there and it will work"
4. I had to shift my body to reach the pedal and pressed the accelerator at full throttle only to be moving less than 20km/h
5. I only could complete 3 laps after struggling with a kart that was not wheel balanced (would steer to the left)
6. My friend in the next group unfortunately had my kart too. She only completed 4 laps. She ended up with back injuries as she had to shift her weight forward to reach the pedal.

Every thing that was promised before such as a DJ and refreshments were not seen and surprising removed from the website.

I hope Brisbane and Perth goers do no get scammed by this event!

I've been to eastern creek karts multiple times and experienced significant delays (1hr+) and the most inconsistent performances from karts. For a place that is so large and clearly turns over alot of money the karts and track are in very poor condition. Brakes and accelerator pedals that are half broken and dont work properly, multiple karts with engines that just stop on track. I did 3 15 minute sessions that at another hire kart place would be approximately 100 bucks...145 at eastern creek and a poor experience at that. Spend your money elsewhere that knows how to look after their customers like UKS or luddenham kart tracks and are signicantly cheaper.
