Went all the way from Athens with my family on Monday, 4th of July 2022...unfortunately found it closed. Despite that it says Open 9am - 3pm Monday - Friday ... Make sure before going all the way there that it is open to visitors. Also called the number given on internet but no response...

This is a must see for anyone staying in Tripoli or driving through. An amazing cave with superb natural formations, the first of its kind studied and mapped in modern Greek history and currently by global standards, one of the top 10 caves in Greece. The facilities for the guided tour are brand new and easily accessible for young and old. The tourguide is very passionate, a great story teller and so informative. Also a fun playground for the kids sith unique equipment, cafe and restaurant! Enjoy it!

Savvas was such a great tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and very humorous and kind. I have visited a few caves in Greece before but by far this was the most interesting and joyful one. Great for families and only a 45min tour which was perfectly doable with a 4 year old.
Highly recommend!

Wonderful place just a few minutes away from Tripoli and just a couple of turns of Kapsia. Place is open with wonderful views of the landscape. Free parking space, and kids friendly with free balls and space to play and enjoy! Staff is helpful and attentive and orders are serviced quickly. Try it!

Absolutely wonderful place to visit. The tour guide, Samos, is fantastic. The caves are lovely and Samos tells great stories. Come early, grab a coffee at the shop, and hang out with his dog Mowgli and cat Sylvester. There are games for kids too!

One of the best caves I've even seen. A very thorough guided tour by Natasa. Next time you're in tripoli and or around take some time to visit this amazing place.

I cycled out to Kapsia from Tripoli on a rainy, gloomy day, so I was the only person visiting that day. There is a small restaurant on site, so I stopped and had a coffee with the proprietor, Panos, while I waited for the guide. The guide spoke almost no English, but it didn't matter, as he had a small brochure with English description. It was very special having the whole place to myself, but I would recommend a visit even if you come during peak tourist season. The history of the place, and it's age, is astounding. Beyond the stalagmites and stalactites, there are human remains that are very affecting. It is a living cave, with stalagmites and stalactites still being produced. Go!

A very well organized, must visit museum-cave in the greater area of Arcadia.
A 30-40’ guided tour is offered every hour, during which a visitor gets all the interesting information.
Secure, easy access, big parking, very nice coffee shop with friendly stuff.

This was a fun stop on my way through Arcadia. I had a private tour because I went on the offseason. The guide spoke perfect English and made the tour lots of fun by pointing out the various 'beings' in the stalactites (goat, bird, etc). I also thought the 'bones' room was interesting. This is just a beautiful cave; a must see

An amazing small tour in one of the most remarkable small caves on the world.
Discovered in 1887, given to the public in 2010, and very well preserved
Even the boned of people trapped in the cave during a very old flood are visible.
A must see, if you are in the area.
Unfortunately photographs are forbidden, but you can find loads on the internet.
