Loved our stop at cave kapsia. It was a rainy day which made it even more perfect since wandering around ruins in the rain doesn’t sound nearly as fun!
This is a smaller cave with amazing formations and our guide was great. He was able to do the tour in English since everyone spoke English and we didn’t speak Greek. Tours are hourly on the half hour-but times are approximate- since the guide will take as much time as you want to answer all your questions. 😉 definitely a worthwhile stop!

Beautiful place, so impressive! The tour guide (we had the lady tour guide) gave us a detailed tour of the cave. The kids loved it and are still thinking of what "animal scultures" they were able to see in the staliktites designs! Must visit if in the area! Excellent 'kid friendly " approach to the entire tour...and super interestong for adults too

Wonderful place just a few minutes away from Tripoli and just a couple of turns of Kapsia. Place is open with wonderful views of the landscape. Free parking space, and kids friendly with free balls and space to play and enjoy! Staff is helpful and attentive and orders are serviced quickly. Try it!

One of the best caves I've even seen. A very thorough guided tour by Natasa. Next time you're in tripoli and or around take some time to visit this amazing place.

I cycled out to Kapsia from Tripoli on a rainy, gloomy day, so I was the only person visiting that day. There is a small restaurant on site, so I stopped and had a coffee with the proprietor, Panos, while I waited for the guide. The guide spoke almost no English, but it didn't matter, as he had a small brochure with English description. It was very special having the whole place to myself, but I would recommend a visit even if you come during peak tourist season. The history of the place, and it's age, is astounding. Beyond the stalagmites and stalactites, there are human remains that are very affecting. It is a living cave, with stalagmites and stalactites still being produced. Go!

A very well organized, must visit museum-cave in the greater area of Arcadia.

A 30-40’ guided tour is offered every hour, during which a visitor gets all the interesting information.

Secure, easy access, big parking, very nice coffee shop with friendly stuff.

This was a fun stop on my way through Arcadia. I had a private tour because I went on the offseason. The guide spoke perfect English and made the tour lots of fun by pointing out the various 'beings' in the stalactites (goat, bird, etc). I also thought the 'bones' room was interesting. This is just a beautiful cave; a must see

An amazing small tour in one of the most remarkable small caves on the world.
Discovered in 1887, given to the public in 2010, and very well preserved
Even the boned of people trapped in the cave during a very old flood are visible.
A must see, if you are in the area.
Unfortunately photographs are forbidden, but you can find loads on the internet.

One of the most beautiful caves I have ever seen ! Stalactites and stalagmites of indescribable beauty in gorgeous colors and very well preserved. The cave has been open to public only four years ago and it belongs to the 10 most important caves in Greece. The guided tour through the cave last about 30 minutes but it's definitely worth visiting ! The place is very close to Menalo ski resort.

In the plains of Mantineia, stands the Kapsia caves, next to the village Kapsia or Kapsa! In only 20 minutes you will enjoy nice scenery of stalagmits and stalactits in the impressing cave which preserves its temperature in 16 degrees all year round! Next to the caves you may see the sinkhole of mantineia, which drain the water of the Mantineia plains! The waters end their journey in Kefalari of Argolida some 50 klm away!!!
