A must visit on your Mudgee wine journey.
The ladies that work there are so lovely. Helen called a couple of times to help organise our visit during Covid restrictions.
Huntington have been around for ages and still make wines of high quality. None of this cheap mass production stuff you'll buy for $10 at your local coles or woolworths junk wine store. (do yourself a favour and stop buying that rubbish full of chemicals and sugar and treat yourself to good wine.. You only live once)
My favourites on the day was the Traditional method Pino/Chardonnay.. delicious And the Shiraz.. Cant wait for the delivery.

I was a regular visitor here decades ago. On this visit I must say not a lot has changed. The wines are still varied across reds, whites and a fortified. The lady on the bar was very informative and a wealth of information on Mudgee and its wines.
Unfortunately with a small car and heading towards Brisbane with al the luggage, would have loved to buy a dozen but couldn't. Still took away a delightful liqueur port.
Worth a visit.

This small winery has not lost the personal touch. We paid $10 and tasted 5 wines (and an extra for free!) Charming, helpful young woman took care to explain the wines flavours and characteristics with a smile. Thank you! We didn't buy but took the folder notes to purchase them when we get home. We enjoyed a picnic we had brought in the shady grounds,

Tied bored customer service. Little to no atmosphere. Was the first winery we visited and I thought if this is Mudgee well it was a waste of a trip from Sydney. Second went to Craigmore which was brilliant spent $350 there then off to the small winery where we spent a further $250 cause once again warm, inviting hospitality.

Huntington wine tasting venue has the stained glass vinery patterns and homely interior designs. It’s interesting to know that the wine labels have remained the same for so many decades. We had a lovely experience here. The Shiraz was divine!

Came here on Australia Day with my wife and our two year old. What an awesome winery with lovely staff. There was a box of LEGO, a tractor and a little football pitch to keep our boy entertained. Their staff were awesome. I wish I’d taken her name but we were served by a lovely girl, originally from Mudgee who moved back there a few years ago after 16 years in Sydney. She was awesome, served us a tasting outside so we could keep an eye on the little monster, brought out some biscuits for him when he started getting over it. The wine is ace. Particularly enjoyed the reserve cab sav and Shiraz. Bought a bunch to take home. Plenty of room for the kiddies to roam and good burger place there if you’re planning on lining your stomach. A little bar also if you want to stay for a drink. They brew their own cider there, really enjoyed the cider and bought a 4 pack to take home... the cider was also recommended by their awesome staff member. One of the best winery experiences I’ve had with the little man. Good family fun.

We recently had a family holiday in Mudgee. Although no wine expert, amongst the half dozen wineries we visited this was one of the stand outs. Beautiful whites, reds, hospitality and setting. We ended up purchasing a dozen of their wines. We found it a more authentic winery compared to some that are more modern/contemporary and they seem to focus on the quality of their wine.

We got there to do a tasting and were greeted by a very unfriendly staff member who said we were in between booking times and asked why we hadn’t spoken to a staff member out the front when we first arrived. This made things quite awkward as she sat us down and kept reminding us we were in between tasting times and was expecting a large group. We were there for 20 mins and no one else showed up. Compared to all the other experiences we had, this was quite unpleasant. On a positive note, one of the chefs was much nicer to us. In future, turn us away or take us for tasting- either way be polite and friendly about it. You are in customer service.

Hi Emma,
I’m so sorry you didn’t have a good experience with us. We strive for outstanding customer service and clearly didn’t deliver on this occasion.
With covid restrictions still in place, we strongly recommend bookings, and compliance with the direction of the concierge and staff on site to allow us to create the best possible experience for all our customers.
Hope to be able to show you our best on another occasion.
Cheers, Nicky

We booked a tasting over the long weekend based on the many positive reviews we had read. Unfortunately, we were disappointed, it was towards the end of the day and our cellar attendant seemed tired and disinterested. Our tasting experience consisted of having the wine poured with no information about the wines or the estate. Such a contrast to the other wineries we visited in Mudgee.

Hi Donna,
I’m so sorry that you had a disappointing tasting experience with us over the long weekend.
We strive for the highest quality service every time, and go out of our way to create meaningful tasting experiences for our valued customers. It sounds like we really dropped the ball with you on a very busy weekend and I apologise. I hope that you can give us another chance next time you are in Mudgee for us to give you the service we are renowned for.

We came near on closing and were hoping we could get fit in for a quick tasting.
Greeted by the staff honestly that we could be squeezed in may not be able to get through everything. Despite this the staff were amazing and we got a full tasting, happy to chat up to closing. On top of this the wines were good. So could not complain whatsoever and had an enjoyable tasting
