Friendly owner, small range
Sep 2016 • Friends
Only Fetta cheeses for $12 to try at a bar with small crackers. The website should be updated as it makes it look like a massive range is available. The surrounds are picturesque. The pesto Fetta cheese was enjoyable.

This is a real working farm with mud, animals and a wonderful couple running it. Seriously delicious cheeses and the Labhne OMG!

Website is very deceiving
Jul 2016 • Friends
Got there around lunch time and we seriously thought we entered some private property with sheep walking around everywhere. The website looked so professional but the location looked nothing like that. The alpaca (one and only) had attitude that day (according to the person there) and so were not allowed to mingle. There was no one else there except for the lady! There were no cheese left except for two fromages. All very disappointing. Someone should update the website!!

Great cheese, service so so

Certainly not the place to go for customer service, served by a teeneager who didn't really want to be there. No wine to be found, but the cheese is worth the trip. No wine offered for tasting.

Cheese lovers

We were recommended to try Leaning Oaks cheeses and found a stall at the Makers Market in town. We tried a few and definitely like their produce. Their labneh was so smooth and tasty I had to buy some and after hearing they had sold out of one I wanted, we made our way to their property the same afternoon to keep tasting and buy everything we wanted. Will definitely come back on our next trip for more.

Wonder cheese
Apr 2016 • Friends
After reading previous comments I was very disappointed today that I WAS NOT attacked by wild goats!! All goats were in a fenced off area. Bought some lovely cheeses.
No wines available to try but could be bought if we wanted.

That was an experience - would've been nice to see some wine or humans

Arrived at the deserted property, to be greeted by a foul smell and sheep on the verandah of the main house of the property. The tasting room door was wide open and filled with many goats on furniture and eating books. Not a person in sight. Maybe we caught them on a bad day?! Have to admit it was one of the most memorable visits whilst in Mudgee.

Took my tour group here yesterday for a delightful cheese tasting of fresh flavoured goat feta and a closeup of the new offspring. Thanks Phoebe

Worth the smell!
Oct 2015 • Couples
Of course it's going to smell, all the best cheese does, and so do farms!

After a long day wine tasting the day before we decided to check out some animals and try some cheese. We weren't disappointed! Even though we just missed the baby goat feeding, they were hanging out in the house so we could still pet them and enjoy their company. We were pleased that we weren't given the "hard sell" tactics after declining the wine tasting, and if we lived any closer I think the car would have been filled with cheese... As it was we picked up a few tubs and headed off for a picnic in the park.
