About
Mudgee Farmer's markets operate on third Saturday of every month. The markets are always on - come rain, hail or shine. Grab a bacon and egg roll, team it with a freshly brewed coffee, and listen to local musicians play as you browse the great range of stalls. Chat to our specialist food producers before selecting some great produce to take home. All products sold have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders themselves. The Mudgee Farmers Markets are an authentic Farmers Market, and operate under strict Farmers Market guidelines, so you can be sure all produce sold at the markets is produced as close to our market as possible.

Much smaller than expected and overpriced artisan products mainly. A little fruit and veg , no meat and some expensive fast food. Allow an hour tops

Picnic in Robertson Park Mudgee, 3rd Saturday each month... 8am to 12.30pm
Feb 2020
We are a small boutique organic, preservative free wine maker in the Mudgee area, established 1985, we have been selling at this market since 2008. We love meeting new people visiting Mudgee each weekend as well at our regular locals calling in for their supplies. We have several colleagues who also sell their wines at the market, as well as local bread, cheese, vegetables, nuts, coffee, mushrooms, preserves, eggs, honey, native plants and cut flowers, distilled spirits and fresh food cooked on the spot to be eaten in Robertson Park.

A nice experience
Dec 2019 • Friends
A great sunny morning with loads of local people strolling through the park and looking for great ideas and purchasing.

A good morning and we purchased a few ideas and items in minutes.

Very friendly people.

We would recommend to anyone who is looking for a unique style of market.

A Great Community Event

Held in Robertson Park this is a fantastic event. It is not just a market. There is live music from local performers to boost the atmosphere. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. Threes a wide selection of local produce available. And the bacon and egg rolls were superb!

Somewhat disappointing. Small and almost devoid of fresh fruit and vegetable stalls.

The markets are held on the morning of the third Saturday every month in the grounds at the front of the Catholic Church.

Overall the markets were not large and whilst there were a number of stalls representing wineries, olive oil producers, cheese makers, nut growers and producers of a range of different preservatives etc there was only one stall offering fresh fruit and vegetables.

There were also a couple of stalls selling take away food and coffee.

Thought there would have been more on offer given Mudgee's reputation for fine produce, though the drought may have impacted.

Mudgee Fine Foods Farmers Market is a lovely way to fill in a Saturday morning. Filled with lots of local sauce, jams and bric a brac. Very friendly stallholders.

Lots of sauces and jams - pricey
Jan 2017 • Family
Lots of sauces and jams made by locals, different flavours, fruits and colours, which almost tempted me to buy and I know these are made in smaller batches but charging $8+ for small jars is a bit much even when it's gourmet. I couldn't tell whether it was a tourist price. Reasonably priced local honey. Bread. Wine. Brick a brack. Nice setting around the church in the middle of town.

Thank you for your kind review. We would like to point out that the prices our stallholder charge at our Markets are their normal retail pricing. Most of the stallholders come from within the Midwestern Regional Council area. Their products are made from scratch using ingredients grown by them, or where possible locally grown. At our normal Farmers Market we do not have bric a brac, only food and plants. We do have our local artists join us for long weekend Makers Markets, and once again everything is made by the stallholders themselves. We hope to see you at one of our markets again soon.
